My favorite moment of Mike McCarthy's presser was when Carter rattled off this stat to him and he quipped "that sounds like a T-shirt!"

A sign of the #Steelers' run blocking strength at the point of attack: When facing 3rd/4th down and 2 or less, Pittsburgh has converted all 12 times they've run the ball. Ball carriers average 1.25 yards before contact. They're the only team who's converted 100% of those plays.

The Steelers offensive line is one of the youngest units in the locker room, but Mike McCarthy says he wants them to be the "big brothers" of the team. He added that he believes James Campen is the best OL coach in the NFL.

Steelers HC Mike McCarthy said he loves the way the team is stacking wins and building confidence, with the Paris trip having great vibes. "It wasn't easy for anybody, but there's a lot of good that comes out of it. Most importantly, we won."

RT @BobLabriola: Before the #Steelers left for Paris, Mike McCarthy told his players, 'We felt as a football team that we needed to own the line of scrimmage on both sides.' On Sunday the #Steelers delivered.

Two passionate fan bases, very much wanting a win but also having a weekend party (or longer) in Paris. It all made for a certain je ne sais quoi when it comes to the atmosphere for Steelers-Saints at Stade de France. That and more in this week's Quick 6:

Payton Wilson got a souvenir from France. The Steelers left with more than that, moving to 5-2 with a 16-10 win over the Saints. And they did it in smash-mouth style. "Good defenses are always sitting on the bench. It felt like one of those games today."

Steelers get a souvenir to bring home from Paris. Payton Wilson's pick changed the game and the backfield duo shined overseas:

Steelers defense holds and Daniel Carlson's kick from 52 yards is no good. Ball back to the Steelers up 16-10 with 9:27 left in Paris.

There goes Kevin Jobity Jr. again, big 6-4 300-pound lineman running down on kickoffs and he gets the first hit on Barion Brown before Travis Homer wraps him up at the NO19. Steelers 16, Saints 10 now after three quarters.

Payton Wilson picks off Tyler Shough as the Saints are threatening in the end zone. Great play by Wilson and a pretty good return, 18 yards to the PIT29.

Halftime: Steelers 13, Saints 10 after Chris Boswell boots a 47-yard field goal on a mayday run-on situation. Jaylen Warren with nine carries for 78 yards, plus three catches for 36. Saints ball to start the second half.

Steelers 10, Saints 10 now with 1:45 left in the first half after Tyler Shough hits DeVaughn Vele for the 1-yard touchdown. Kinda surprised they went shotgun on 4th-and-inches from the goal line, but that's how stout the Steelers defense had been up front.

Heck of a play by Cole Holcomb to punch out the attempt by Kendre Miller to break the plane while he extended the ball, but on review, Miller was down. Saints face 4th-and-goal from the inch line.

Touchdown, Steelers. Darnell Washington with an absolute poster of a touchdown catch on a 4-yard toss from Aaron Rodgers. Steelers 10, Saints 3 with 6:45 left in half. Rodgers passes Peyton Manning for sole possession of third most TD passes in NFL regular season history (540).

Not ideal for Lew Nichols to slip on that run-back but nice blocking on the return team by rookie DL Kevin Jobity Jr., making his NFL debut in the regular season.

Steelers 3, Saints 3 after a Daniel Carlson 38-yard field goal with 10:17 left in the half. Saints couldn't recover on that drive after the big sack by TJ Watt, his first since Cleveland.

Expedited review says TJ Watt sacked Tyler Shough but the QB was down before fumbling. Watt still got to put his punting to the test as he booted a ball that made it into the stands on one bounce.
