Marnus

Matthew Stone@stone1_matthewI feel like most people can agree Marnus Labuschagne and Nic Maddinson should be dropped for the next test, but the elephant in the room for Australian cricket is everyone knows which of the seamers should be dropped if Nathan Lyon comes back, but no one wants to say it.568727125K
This should be a career ending shot for Marnus Labuschagne. Marnus Labuschagne had a brain fade and assessed the situation horribly here. Very poor from him. He rode his luck throughout his innings and should've cashed in. Instead he is the reason why Australia are staring down the barrel. 47 innings now without a test 100 and 14 innings without a top 50. This is as a number 3 batter. One of the most pivotal spots in test cricket. This is simply unacceptable.76601.6K491K
Marnus Labuschagne 🤝 Marco Jansen, and their Afrikaans connection 😅823712377K
John Goliath@JohnGoliath82The worst thing about the fall of wickets is that Marnus is back chirping away in the slips ...49672.9K
Drew Semmens@drewie_5Boland was our best player in the second test, got a 5fa and batted well, gets dropped Marnus, who has done bugger all with the bat and hasn’t scored a 100 in three years at test level, continues to get picked This is literally peak George Bailey selection!94783.1K
Ryan Rickelton called Marnus Labuschagne "obviously Afrikaans" while talking up his rivalry with Marco Jansen. Well, someone needs to brush up on their history! Labuschagne moved to Australia at 10, and his surname has French roots. Its pronunciation changed through Afrikaans influence in South Africa. Labuschagne's surname has a longer history than Rickelton seems to know.7147191.5K
Tomorrow is the biggest day in Marnus Labuschagne's test career. He needs to step up big time. He has failed miserably in his last 25 tests. He fails here his test career is done and dusted for good.62591.3K
Nakli Pathan@NakliPathan@TUnlimitedd@TUnlimitedd Marnus has no chance of surviving against Rabada and Jansen and even if he does he throws his wicket away. Players who throw away their wickets as if they own cricket are better off being dropped from the team.103122
Pat Cummins in the press conference yesterday when asked about the current form of Marnus Labuschagne: Pat Cummins- " Marnus Labuschagne is a world class player. He's got to find a way to convert those 30s into bigger scores. Hopefully a big score at Cape Town for Marn." Reporter- And what about his last 25 tests where he hasn't scored a 100 and no 50+ score in his last 14 innings? Pat Cummins - No comments on that. Next question please. Pat Cummins is a sell out and a joke of captain 🙏471215317.1K
Kars@Israelicricboi@TUnlimitedd@TUnlimitedd why tf he's acting like marnus is his friend and they are playing sum random club matches001403
Marnus Labuschagne will go down as one of the biggest false images if not the biggest false image in world cricket. From a test average of 61 to currently at 43 no one has experienced such a drop off at the peak/prime years of his career. He rode on luck and misfortune in the initial years of his career. The amount of drop catches early in his career was way too high and he used to cash in. The reality is he is a very average batter and wasn't meant to average in the 60s. It was an accident.. He is a sub par 35-40 average player at best. What a shame! Negative vibes, Negative energy, Negative aura. Not the sort of individual people should look to idolise or follow.2659425.4K
'He understands that his role is to go out there and convert those runs' 🗣️ Alex Carey on Marnus Labuschagne213514.2K
The Final Word@Final_Word_Pod“Marnus got a second chance by 4 millimetres - so why did he do what he did next? A career is in the balance.”636110.5K
Would be a sin not getting to 400 with the start we had... def still capable of that with the batting to come . #sscricket #proteas26152529K
Nic Maddinson released ❌ Steve Smith's availability subject to fitness ❓ Marnus Labuschagne holds onto his spot ✅ Australia will make at least one change to their XI for the third Test against South Africa that begins tomorrow 🇦🇺238211.3K
Bharat Sundaresan@beastieboy07Marnus Labuschagne yet to have a bat. Has bowled some leggies, mostly with a Shane Warne action, while Cam Green, Beau Webster & Josh Inglis have faced Starc, Cummins & Lyon. A bit early to speculate but this was his routine in the Caribbean last year14744573.7K
Nic Negrepontis@NicNegrepontisGuys you have to wait until both teams have batted on a pitch before making such harsh judgments… You just wait til Marnus and Inglis and Coop and squad get their turn and we … we’re screwed aren’t we.60401.9K- Mehr Beiträge anzeigen
