RT @robhynds: Excited to share our new paper with Sheila's lab: we performed an in vivo genome-wide CRISPRa screen using a lung TRACERx PDX model to uncover drivers of brain metastasis. BACE1 emerged as a key hit - especially interesting given ongoing therapeutic efforts in Alzheimer’s.

RT @jsoriamd: CHIP is a common, age-related condition where mutated blood stem cells expand without causing blood disorders. CHIP raises the risk of hematological malignancies, chronic inflammatory diseases (like heart & lung disease), & lung cancer. This manuscript shows that CHIP somatic clones in blood—especially TET2 mutant ones—migrate into tumors, reshape immunity, drive progression, and promote recurrence. The ability of a somatic clonal expansion in the hematopoietic compartment, to regulate malignant progression in another tissue represents a new perspective in cancer biology. #CHIP #LCMS #cancer #biology #AACR25

RT @crispinhiley: Is Osimertinib over? Not at all IMO. We just need to think more deeply about patient selection. I’ll point (again) to our recent paper looking at Genome Doubling and TP53 in EGFR positive NSCLC with @swantonlab

We establish that FSPG is a predictive marker of therapy resistance of NSCLC and identify a metabolic vulnerability for its treatment. This has been a labour of love for many years, led by the amazing @hgreenwood93. Paper can be found here: 🙏
