I know schools like to play in the big stadiums but this is what playoff football should look like. One community. One team. They are ALL here. Should be a great atmosphere. Sometimes that gets lost in domes and college stadiums. @LTHSCavFootball @LosFresnosCISD

A more aggressive scheme has helped @RRCRFootball completely turn around a defense that left every Raider with unhappy feelings in '25. Can the defense keep its roll going in Friday's 25-6A title showdown at @Westlake_Nation? "Why not?" says @jayyfrm210

Doing some research on this week's area 6A football action and found this: @RRCRFootball has the area's longest active winning streak at 10 games. Raiders closed 2025 with a pair of wins and are 8-0 to start 2026.

What a difference a year makes. @Westlake_Nation rides its OL to a Battle of the Lakes win over @LTHSCavFootball as @JDC2027 & company atone from last year's rivalry loss. Chaps stay unbeaten in 25-6A play and focus on @RRCRFootball showdown next week.

Lake Travis will punt it away with 1:30 left and Chaps will kneel it out. That’s a wrap. @Westlake_Nation wins Battle of the Lakes 38-17 over @LTHSCavFootball.

And that should do it. Chase Brodhead with his second touchdown, this time on a planned carry, and @Westlake_Nation leads @LTHSCavFootball 38-17, 2:40 left.

Chaps simply grinding out yards and more importantly time since recovering the onside kick. Down to 2:45 left and @Westlake_Nation has run to the @LTHSCavFootball 14 still leading 31-17.

After a quiet 3rd, @LTHSCavFootball cuts into the @Westlake_Nation lead on a 4-yard run by Henry Hopping. Chaps lead 31-17 with 7:05 left. Expect an onside kick? Probably. Cavs getting short on time.

It is but @Westlake_Nation recovers.

Three quarters in the books. @LTHSCavFootball unable to muster any offense in the quarter. Three possessions: 2 3 and outs and a turnover on downs on 4 plays. @Westlake_Nation leads 31-10 with 12:00 to play.

After forcing a @Westlake_Nation punt and getting great field position, @LTHSCavFootball turns it over on downs. 2:00 left in 3rd and Chaps lead 31-10.

When it’s your night…@LTHSCavFootball sacks Jones and forces a fumble but it bounces right to Chase Brodhead, who runs 30 yards for a @Westlake_Nation touchdown. 7:31 left in 3rd, Chaps lead 31-10.

Second half is underway. Needing a big drive to start, @LTHSCavFootball goes 3 and out instead. @Westlake_Nation back on offense leading 24-10. 10:18 left in 3rd.

Lake Travis dodges a late bullet. @Braden_Riddell fields a punt in the dying seconds of half and zigzags his way back to the Cavalier 20 before getting stopped. Halftime sees @Westlake_Nation lead @LTHSCavFootball 24-10.

Anton Kopp drills a 37-yard FG and @Westlake_Nation restores its 14-point lead over @LTHSCavFootball. 24-10 with 1;57 left in half.

Cavaliers stem the bleeding a bit with a 22-yard FG from Hendrix Bryant after some solid running from Henry Hopping moved the ball. @Westlake_Nation leads @LTHSCavFootball 21-10, 3:58 until halftime.

Problematic end to 1Q for @LTHSCavFootball. Carter keeps it and fumbles. @Westlake_Nation recovers and early in Q2 @PattonJonesJr1 keeps it and scores from 8 yards out to push Chaps lead to the 21-7, 11:15 before halftime.

After a @LTHSCavFootball punt, @Westlake_Nation takes the lead. @Braden_Riddell’s big punt return and @PattonJonesJr1’s scramble set up a 4-yard TD for @CooperJones43. Chaps lead 14-7, 0:26 left in 1st.

Chaps with a response. @CooperJones43 finds plenty of room up the gut and takes it 27 yards for a tying TD. 2;37 left in 1Q. @LTHSCavFootball 7, @Westlake_Nation 7.

First blood for Lake Travis. Jason Carter dials up a deep shot and Gray Garrick runs under it for a 53-yard TD. Cavs lead Chaps 7-0, 6:53 left in 1st.
