Along the wings, the silhouette fractures into crude stair-steps; green-black residues cling to the contours like remnants of a discarded reality. She herself achieves a peculiar pictorial equilibrium: the monumental and the degraded, the organic and the synthetic, held together by the friction between a commanding silhouette and its visibly unstable digital perimeter.
