Anyone know where to find affordable large whiteboards for students to work on around the classroom? #mathsTLP #defronting

For the “minimum amount of disorder” I’m thinking of establishing materials that the student can grab, all over the room. It’s time the markers moved from the front. #defronting #thinkingclassroom

Q2: The Problem section ends with the idea that we need to find the right amount of disorder. What are some things that you can change in your classroom that would create more disorder - that you can live with? *Remember to put #ThinkingClassroom somewhere in your tweet!

I love individual student whiteboards. But on the teacher centered to student centered continuum they are more teacher centered (Ss hold up for the T to see) COLLABORATIVE #googleSlides are more student centered. #googleEDU

This is why I like #defronting so much. Even if the Ss were facing forward, in rows, duct taped to chairs, and held their eyes open, that wouldn’t mean they’d be paying attention!!! Middle schoolers are notorious for daydreaming (“what did you say?”) 1/2 #thinkingclassroom

Q2: Think about your teaching when students are sitting in their seats. How many are really paying attention to you? If a teacher were standing in the back of your class and was able to see what your students were really doing, what do you think they would see? #ThinkingClassroom
