There is no Excel spreadsheet where you can just go delete a line. This in fact has almost nothing to do with normal #computerscience It is PhD statistics, PhD linear algebra, PhD geometry, and some PhD physics. Computer science is a side dish. That’s why there are almost no qualified AI researchers because 10 years ago nobody thought that going into statistics and getting a PhD would get them a good job. Because large language models are basically next best word predictors. In a mass scale with billions and billions of things called nodes. What AI researchers built is changing so quickly that if you quit a company for three months to do a little eat, pray, love? You would have massive work to do coming back into the industry to catch up to see what you missed.
