#ShareTargetAPI

I have something new to share. I finally found a helpful usecase for the #ShareTargetAPI: after @aleksejdix had an idea and @JNYBGR shared a little snippet I created a #PWA that let's you listen to videos in the background.

#Sharing is one of the most time-saving interactions on our phones. And with the #ShareTargetAPI, it is now finally available on the web platform. #ShareTarget #WebShare #WebShareAPI #PWA

I just spent 4 days without touching a single line of #code. Feels good. But now I'm excited to play with some new tech during my holidays. Maybe I'll share something, maybe not. We will see😊 On my list: #PuppeteerJS #ShareTargetAPI #ContactPickerAPI #NativeFileSystemAPI #WebAR

3 years ago I released a webbased audio player for YouTube videos. But unfortunately my backend service used to crash all the time. Some weeks ago I added a restart routine to make it more reliable. Well, today I took a look at the statistics... Wow😍..

One of the greatest features is the #shareTargetApi. If you have installed the webapp on android, you can share the current video directly on youtube or in the youtube app and open it in YTAudio. It couldn't be easier😁

Only a couple of days until #PWAdvent. Make sure to subscribe via email, #PushNotifications or just add it to your #homescreen: #PWA #ProgressiveWebApp #AdventCalendar #FUGU

The first article is out: #PWA #ProgressiveWebApp #AddToHomescreen #installable #a2h #WebAppManifest #PWAdvent

Second article is out! 🎉 And it's all about #sharing on the Web #WebShareAPI #ShareTargetAPI #ShareTarget #WebShare #PWA #PWAdvent

Tip: Get native-app like sharing in a few lines of JS with the Web Share API: Supports sharing links, text & files.

@addyosmani And if your webapp is on the other end of the sharing process you could use the #ShareTargetAPI 😊.
