This little parkette in downtown Vancouver was created simply by closing off a road for one short block. Today, a delightful oasis demonstrating the value of small, green spaces as reprieves for birds in cities. Listen to this: #SoundsOfSpring
I'm lucky ive an oak wood at bottom of my garden in Peak District. Others aren't so fortunate. So I'm going to record #soundsofspring on lunchtime walks in my wood for you if u cant get outside. Listen to my local Nuthatch whistling in sun today @DerbysWildlife@ChrisGPackham
The Montana prairie is coming back to life! The silence of Winter is no more. This morning at sunrise. Your Friday Prairie Zen. Turn the volume up and enjoy! #prairiezen#spring#soundsofspring#montana#prairie
#Soundsofspring with our #GreatHornedOwl.
Great Horned Owls have exceptional hearing with some estimating that they can hear sounds up to ten miles away.
The rain has clearly downed a fair few migrants into the Axe Valley this morning. Several singing Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs on my walk to work, with a carpet of Sand Martins and a few Swallows feeding low over the marshes #spring#soundsofspring
Spring migration is underway so keep your eyes peeled. @LisaChipmunk and I had 4 new arrivals join us at breakfast this morning. Baltimore Oriole, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Gray Catbird and Common Yellowthroat (new yardbird for us).
