Leafcutter John@LeafcutterJohnBursting with pride right now that I've managed to complete my first plot on my big DIY plotter. It's been a ton of work building the machine and control boards, programming the software, fine-tuning the settings and coming up with something to plot. #plottertwitter #plotter87148

- Leafcutter John@LeafcutterJohnOne of the great things about algorithmically generated design is that after the grunt work of coding the initial algorithm a slight change in what you feed to it can have profound effects upon the output. #plotter #generative #algorithm @cycling74 @ooznest3555

piterpasma @piterpasmaLol I'm trying to plot this one and I sent it to the plotter 45 minutes ago (it's running on an RPi3) and it's been "thinking" since the whole time ... the plot is a single line and the longer the line is, the more it needs to "think", I dunno why. I hope it won't OOM ...24392K- piterpasma@piterpasmaLol I'm trying to plot this one and I sent it to the plotter 45 minutes ago (it's running on an RPi3) and it's been "thinking" since the whole time ... the plot is a single line and the longer the line is, the more it needs to "think", I dunno why. Dan Gries@RectangleWorldLatest from the plotter. I put some care into calibrating the two pens, and it was really satisfying watching the white pen fill in the gaps perfectly! 8"x10" @EMSL #AxiDraw Gelly roll white Sakura microperm black Strathmore mixed media #plotter #plottertwitter #plotterart

Amy Jami Hiller@amyjamihHow do you write? Plan it all out (#planner/#plotter), write and see where it goes (#pantser) or somewhere in the middle with a loose outline/plan that has the flexibility to see where things go (#plantser)? #WritingCommunity #writingstyle5015- piterpasma@piterpasmaHyperplane Microplane VX-5. arturo182 is on Bluesky now@arturo182Replaced the warped 3d printed frame, shortened the 60mm pen holder hinge screw, mounted a real barrel jack for power, shortened the stepper wires, and replaced the cheap stepper drivers. Starting to get better and better results! #plotter2526
