carrie bradshaw is the most important character that has ever graced television, and arguably, she is up there with the likes of odysseus, hamlet, and even jesus.
Shakespeare gave Hamlet "To be or not to be". @Mettody1 gave a pug "To eat or not to eat", and the pug's question is clearly the more urgent one 😂
In a collection full of memories and grief, a little humor is very welcome. Habibi the Pug made this piece exclusively for Lost & Found.

A really underrated part of Hamlet is the scene where Hamlet tries to get Guildenstern to play the pipe and Guildenstern says he doesn't know how and Hamlet says "funny how you can't play the pipe but you thought you could play ME"

King Lear is written in a shrieking-saccharine register which convinces its audience that every Shakespearean tragedy is written in its register, while it is the aberration.
It uniquely concedes to every contemporary self-conception and aesthetic taste. It is written with a sincere belief in all of the things that the liars in Hamlet believe about themselves, which, in Hamlet, gets punished with slapstick death.
All of the dark coloring of King Lear is cultivated to prop up the image of Cordelia's ultimate goodness. In Hamlet, the idea that someone like Cordelia can even exist is mocked as impossible.
Insane how viral this went!
My brother texted me saying it was the first topic on the Morning Brew Daily podcast (#4 business pod).
Someone also mentioned it was on their local news this morning.
Kicked off 300+ customer conversations for @BananaCap_ portfolio company Hamlet.

The only thing discussed more than data centers?
Pickleball courts.

ATTN: AG Pamela Bondi;
In The Matter of PEOPLE V. GEORGE SOROS:
George Soros became a naturalized U.S. citizen on December 18, 1961.
That means he is NOT a FOREIGN BILLIONAIRE immune to our laws:
HE IS AN AMERICAN CRIMINAL ACTIVELY AND OPENLY USING HIS MONEY TO FLAUNT THEM.
His crimes include:
Funding ANTIFA/BLM to commit $2 BILLION in DAMAGE during the SUMMER OF LOVE RIOTS.
Bankrolling SOFT ON CRIME DAs who largely put criminals BACK ON OUR STREETS TO COMMIT MORE CRIME.
Using his wealth to SWAY ELECTIONS.
Funding the NGOs that support ILLEGAL INVASIONS into our country.
AG BONDI:
George Soros resides in the in Katonah, New York, a hamlet in the town of Bedford, Westchester County.
He owns a large estate in the Bedford Hills area and has been based in the U.S. for much of his adult life.
The American people humbly request that you direct your FBI to launch a PRE-DAWN RAID ON THIS AMERICAN ENEMY, THE SAME WAY YOU DID DONALD TRUMP.
We await your response.
Patriotically yours,
Ann Vandersteel, Unelected Representative of the American People
FART JOKES ARE FUNNY. I am not embarrassed to admit this.
I am, however, annoyed to discover that there are people who DON'T. This is deeply troubling.
One of the oldest recorded jokes in human history, dating back to ancient Sumer around 1900 BC, concerns a woman farting in her husband's lap. Think about that. Humanity had barely figured out how to WRITE THINGS DOWN, and somebody decided that one of the first things worth preserving for posterity was a fart joke.
The ancient Greeks made fart jokes. The Romans made fart jokes. Aristophanes made fart jokes. Chaucer made fart jokes. Shakespeare made fart jokes. James Joyce made fart jokes. (Leopold Bloom farts somewhere in Ulysses). He even wrote about his love's farts in a love letter. (I think I would know Nora's fart anywhere.)
SHAKESPEARE. The man who gave us Hamlet, Macbeth, and some of the most beautiful poetry ever written in the English language also thought flatulence was comedy gold. Most people dont' realize that Shakespere was lowbrow humor of the day.
GOD DAMNIT THEY WERE ALL RIGHT. Somehow, in the twenty-first century, we have produced people like Scott Greer (6'2" IQ 187) who consider themselves too mature, too refined, or too intellectually sophisticated to laugh at a fart. I find this attitude considerably more embarrassing than the fart itself.
Look, I understand that there are times and places where bodily noises are inappropriate. A funeral, for example. Or a presidential inauguration. Although, frankly, an unexpected tuba blast during either event would probably make me laugh so hard I'd require medical attention.
We are human beings. We are ridiculous biological machines that occasionally make noises like a tuba falling down a staircase. That's FUNNY. (Tubas are also funny.)
We've split the atom. We've walked on the Moon. We've built computers capable of astonishing feats of reasoning. (and generating AI art of fart jokes) After four thousand years of civilization, we still haven't improved upon the fundamental comedic premise of somebody's asshole unexpectedly going PBBBBBBBBT.
That's the funny thing, see, assholes tend to go "PBBBBBBBBT" a lot. That's why I think it's funny when an asshole gets annoyed when you joke about it. Which brings me back to Mr. Scott Greer. (6'2" IQ 187)
Mr. Greer here would like to be a moral scold about the AI generated fart joke in my banner. It actually has a history, it's based on another piece of better-made photoshop, but I used AI to have my online X persona doing the farting. Mostly because I spit facts, but I don't take myself too seriously. So sometimes I fart facts.
BECAUSE FARTS ARE FUNNY, SCOTT.
This is apparently a bridge too far for certain guardians of intellectual respectability.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go rip on more self-important right-wing wannabe moral scolds.
My mother would have been so proud.
I’m so SICK of people called Mari-twinkle Snowdrops who live in a hamlet with two people including Emma Thompson, and get their food from the Vegan Fart Shop, telling us that a zillion immigration and towns being showered with rapey foreign men show us the beauty of humanity.
