#ipstack

@apilayer Even though we've been happily using #ipstack until then, the ongoing outage management is horrible: - for an API service to return a 200 response code when the request actually failed is questionable - to display a fully working status page is outrageous

Ipstack update: We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties on ipstack and the back-end team is working on it. Please bear with us while we resolve this. Thank you for your patience.#UPDATE #apilayer #API

@apilayer If we can't get an estimated time to fix, we'll be moving our sites to another service today. #apilayer #ipstack

“Locate and identify website visitors by IP address” by @BrandonMorelli #IPstack #IP #Coding #API #WebDev #Programming

Needed an #rstats function to convert IP address to geolocation data. Found an old one for freegeoip, which has become @apilayernet's #ipstack. I updated this function: it resolves IP address(es) to country, region, city, zip, lat/long, area & metro codes.

@r2r @mattdunnevt @AllYouCanTechVT Nice plate #IPstack

now uses @ipinfoio instead of #ipstack (@apilayer) for #IP #geolocation. I save $13/month.

#GCP 上に #WowHoneypot を建てて、結果をひとまず国別でグラフにしてみました。 #ipstack は結構面白いです。

取れ高がそれなりにあったので、なんか書こうかな。 #wowhoneypot
