    This market looks a lot like summer 2023. In 2023, bitcoin:native's first big move off the bottom ran into a meme and altcoin frenzy. Volatility then sank. This year has followed the same order, with volatility now at the lows. More on these parallels in this week's Week On-chain.

    $85K keeps turning $BTC back. Since January, Bitcoin has closed above it on only five days, never more than three in a row. It's a truly tough level to break. More in depth analysis in our latest Week on Chain report

    RT @n3ocortex: "outflows from ETFs are signal" wrong. people need to stop treating ETF flows as a leading indicator. ETF flows chase price. they line up with the price move that already happened (r≈0.36) and say almost nothing about the next one.
    @jason @Jason
    A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started. Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now. Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue. We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months. Why? Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value. Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value? What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?! The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED! Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets! No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone. No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS! Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity. This should be obvious to everyone right now. Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

    Bitcoin is quiet. The market under it is not. Long-term holders sit on coins bought above $85K. Each dip brings smaller losses. Stocks now outtrade Bitcoin perps on Hyperliquid. Altcoin breadth is fading. Twelve analyses on how it all fits together 👇

    RT @anti_fragile: The largest liquidation cluster now sits above bitcoin:native. It sits around $87k, just above the October high. If price climbs back toward it, shorts there would be forced to cover, which could add fuel to the move up.

    bitcoin:native is beating the S&P 500 again. Over recent weeks it has won more trading days than it lost. In June it won only one day in five, its weakest stretch in more than five years. Outperformance like this could become reflexive as investors move to the strongest asset class.

    Hyperliquid whales are net short bitcoin:native for the first time since March. This group managed to long the bottom, but the positioning flipped last week. The question is whether they are early to a deeper pullback, or about to be squeezed if price turns higher.

    Recent bitcoin:native buyers have left the strong sell zone. In late September, almost all short-term holder supply was in profit. Now it has cooled to about 70%. For buyers who expect the uptrend to continue, that makes this a considerably better entry than a month ago.

    bitcoin:native is testing the ETF cost basis around $81K again. The same level capped the May rally before a deep drop, and caught last week's sweep from just below. A convincing close below it would put mid $70K levels back into play.

    The Q4 levels for bitcoin:native have held so far. Last month, together with @colin_basco and the @CoinbaseInsto team we put resistance at $87K to $87.8K in our Charting Crypto report. We read the data as near-term consolidation. Price stalled there and ranged below it ever since. A break out of the range is likely to spark significant volatility, although another overhead supply cluster sits around $90k. Read our full quarterly report below👇

Meanwhile, Gate’s $BTC reserves grew 4.9% YoY while the median across 10 other exchanges fell 6.4%. The data speaks for itself.
