Either way, this should be a wake up call that we have a LOT of organizing to do if we want to expand Republican dominance in this state. It's not enough to just elect RINOs over Dems, and not enough to win races by 3-5 points. We should be winning by 20 points and making political conditions so difficult and hostile that Democrats don't even want to compete. "Make their ass quit," as Nick Saban would say. Several races in my old deep red county didn't even have Democrats running because there was no point. I don't know if it was centrally directed or ad hoc, but it just goes to show that during periods of civil unrest, the absolute best early warning can come from local social media accounts the rioters are following.
