@LitlLinden Hi! Theoretically anything! But the software comes with lots of additional support for working with graphics, video and audio. The graphics side of things uses Processing, which was designed to provide a simple way in to code for artists, but is also very powerful.

@neilcsmith_net That’s the problem ha! Ok what kind of things do I already know is possible? I know it’s possible to create triggers that the code will respond to, making installations interactive or responsive to input. Could this be touch, sound, voice? #code2create

@LitlLinden @chapelartists Yes, I'm generally not a fan of screens! Projection is great though. Finding ways to make art with code that works architecturally is great. For some artists, that they use code is important, for others it's purely the means to an end.

@LitlLinden We'll look at some visual approaches to coding first, and how these translate behind the scenes into text. The basics of programming are not that difficult. But there's always something new to learn, so I'll make sure we look a lot at where to take it next and how to find help.

@neilcsmith_net Oooh very good. It’s sort of easier to learn code when you start having ideas isn’t it. “I wonder if that’s possible?” Becomes “how would I do that with code?” Im just struggling to imagine “off the screen” applications having only played with code for the internet #code2create
