Day 2 I was having a headache, frustrated, I tried to setup penv quickly. Guess what? that was the most therapeutic session of jokes I had today and I haven't even wrote any code yet! #7DaysOfPython

Day 4 of #7DaysOfPython & day 296 of #365DaysofCode Today i continued work with os module to manipulate directories & files. Learned more about exceptions - handling & raising them, & when/where to do it. Learned about classes , objects, inheritance - really enjoyed it 😀

Day 3 of #7DaysOfPython and day 295 of #365DaysofCode Made a simple Guess the Number game Learned about & practised file handling: opening files with open() and its CRUD methods, reading/writing etc. Also about closing files and exceptions. Began learning about os module.

Day 291 & day 292 of #365DaysOfCode In my JavaScript Battleships game for #TheOdinProject I managed to mark off and disable adjacent cells when a ship sinks & fixed up some bugs 🐜 A great place to leave it for now, as tomorrow I start #7DaysOfPython 😃

Day 6 of #7DaysOfPython & day 298 of #365DaysofCode Finished basics of decorators (after closures recap ) Looked at Django vs Flask & how they are each suited to different projects & abilities. Read about FastAPI Learned to use @property (get and set) Discovered type hints

Day 2 of #7DaysOfPython & day 294 of #365DaysofCode Today, I covered dictionaries, sets, tuples, control flow, functions, modules, and a little bit on packages 😅 I’m a bit ahead of where I planned, but that’s all good 🤩 Tomorrow, I’ll code a simple guess the number game

Day 5 of #7DaysOfPython & day 297 of #365DaysofCode Finished learning about inheritance. Also covered custom exceptions, now that I understand classes. Covered recursion (easier than I thought, thanks to my JavaScript knowledge) Covered generators, now studying decorators 🫠

Day 282 of #365DaysofCode was more productive 😀 In Battleships, I got all of the UI messages working & displaying at the correct points during a game 😅 Also, I planned out each day of the #7DaysOfPython that I’ll be doing next month.

Day 7 of #7DaysOfPython & day 299 of #365DaysofCode Wow - that went fast! It's been loads of fun. Today I recapped all the things I learned in the last 6 days. I then made a very basic Flask project & set up simple routes before using Postman to interact with it (GET, POST)
