==> The low pressure area over the south Andaman Sea has intensified into a well marked low pressure area over South Andaman and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal by 5:30 AM IST today.
==> It is likely to intensify further into a Depression during the next 12 hours over the Southeast Bay of Bengal while continuing to move in a west northwest direction.
==> As expected, moderate to high vertical wind shear and dry air intrusion will not allow this system to undergo rapid intensification.
==> However, the clash of steering guides between the strong Indo Pacific Ridge and the Westerly Trough influence is likely to result in very slow movement or stalling near the coasts, which may also lead to some intensification close to the coasts.

#Conclusion: 91B is expected to remain relatively weak (Depression / Deep Depression category) due to shear and dry air, but slow movement near the coast remains a watch point. Widespread rainfall potential continues for extreme North Tamil Nadu under the influence of the Westerly Trough.
