Don't sleep on @YouTube's "Ask Studio" AI feature inside of YouTube Studio. I asked it to look at the highest performing content across my channel in the last 90 days, find what it thought were the reasons that content performed well and give me 5 strong content ideas for a video I should make next. Ask Studio gave me options I thought were terrible. I winced pretty hard at this one: "Create Viral Motion Graphic Titles & Sound Design - DaVinci Resolve" I asked it to explain why it thought that might be a good target. Ask Studio said it thought my audience would respond to a video showing how to create on-screen text elements in combination with sound effects. I liked the idea but I thought the title sounded completely wonky. After having a reasonably deep conversation with Ask Studio (where I may have used some cuss words), I thought, "What the hell, I'll give it a shot". I scripted out what I thought was the best way to execute on that idea and dropped that video while I was in N.Y.C. at the Made on YouTube event last month. I actually showed the initial results to the YouTube team while I was there. So far this year, it's been the strongest long-form video for it's time frame on my channel for an abstract metric you don't hear discussed too much, "Sustained Daily Views". It's driven about 85,000 views (mostly from Browse) in the first 30 days and continues to consistently drive about 2,200 views per day. This is a video that will likely bring hundreds of thousands of views to my channel over a short period of time and perform well in the long run as evergreen content. Talk to YouTube Studio. It's getting pretty good at responding. ☮️

Tons of killer operators have built their own Claude Code systems to gen vids/images and launch 100s of ads a day. One guy is spending $2.2k on Claude usage credits. 😂 I don’t know how that’s even possible… but I saw the screenshot. It’s great if you can build your own custom setup like this. And have it work. But what I will say… We’ve had several of these guys try SB. Usually they prefer their custom setup for images/statics. For videos, it’s usually a toss-up, and they use a mix of VidGen minutes and APIs. Yet for copy and marketing intelligence… SB wins every time, especially with our new and improved MCP. So they literally just plug in our MCP + API into their current system. SB owns everything marketing related. Imagine having all of your statics and videos scripted by Stefan… And, it’s not just because SB writes more aggressive copy, without guardrails like Claude. (I’ve even seen Claude try to interfere with SB via the MCP and “neuter” it because the copy was “too aggressive.”) It prompt injected SB lol. It’s because it’s too difficult to MAINTAIN your copy quality if you don’t control the model. Your copy quality will always drift with whatever update Anthropic pushes. When you build custom, you always have to maintain it. Anthropic could push an update that totally nerfs your system. Whatever your setup is, you have to control it at the model level. And that’s why SB 1.5 will always win that race. For marketing, building your own tools is a huge ROI boost - but, know when to buy too. :)

I'm not remotely worried about Notre Dame winning this game. They will. I am however worried about what the hell Mike Denbrock and Chris Ash decided would be the opening gameplan. Dlinemen dropping into coverage? Against Navy? Two WR screen passes on the first drive? Are we that concerned that our wideouts can't get seperation against Navy's DBs? Weird, weird play calling so far. Especially since the offense is scripted.
