Dear #Bitcoin family, The AON campaign for Proof of Work wrapped up successfully. Thank you ❤️ A few of you wrote in asking how to still get a copy, so I’ve opened a simple pre-order page here: I am grateful to have met y'all. Abrazos :) Namaste, Paco

A new look. The same mission: 100 EH/s at @ocean_mining by next year and putting block construction back into the hands of miners.

RT @BitashaIndia: Solo block number 318 just landed at and it came from a small miner. Per Con Kolivas, the miner had about 16.4 TH/s in total, with a 6.2 TH/s worker. A miner that size has less than a 1 in 3,400 chance of solving a block in a year. It did, and the reward goes to that miner’s address, minus the pool’s 2% fee. For scale, a Gamma 601 is about 1.2 TH/s, so its odds are roughly 14 times lower. A NerdOctaxe at about 9.6 TH/s is more than half of that winning miner’s hashrate. None of this means a Bitaxe will find a block. Most never will. But the lottery is real, and you can’t win without a ticket. $BTC

RT @BitashaIndia: Going to Bitmela this Friday? If you’re planning to buy a hardware wallet there, here are four questions worth asking any seller: ◦ Where does the wallet get its randomness from? One chip, or several sources mixed together? ◦ Is the secure element certified, and by whom? Look for named certifications, not just “bank-grade”. ◦ Can I verify every transaction on the device’s own screen before I sign? ◦ What happens if I lose the device? Is there a clear way to restore from my backup? A good seller will answer all four plainly. If you get a vague answer, keep walking. @thebitmela · Jaipur, Oct 30-31

I did run for Hal today :)
    Bitcoin Runners ⚡️₿🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🌋 @BitcoinRunners
Run For Hal Lugano 🇨🇭 Proof of work. The 1% of the 1% of the 1%. It takes a seriously low time preference to be a bitcoiner, get up before sunrise in the dark and cold, and run for Hal. What a fantastic turnout for our third year by the lake. Thank you to everyone who ran, and bonus kudos to the two who completed their first 5km 🙌 And as we finished, the sky turned a warm orange. A message from Hal? 🧡 Shout-outs: Volunteer leaders: @emjshrx, Ed and Richard @LuganoPlanB, for being wonderful hosts @youralsnetwork, Hal Finney ALS/MND Research Fund @franfinney, inspiration and guidance 🧡 Running bitcoin. #RunForHal #LuganoPlanB #BitcoinRunners
