We’re one week away from Election Day.
Ohio, @SherrodBrown and @AmyActonOH are ready to bring about the change we need right now.
So don’t wait – vote early or make a plan to vote on November 3rd.
Last week, I met with young leaders from the @MBK_Alliance at the Obama Presidential Center. They shared more about the work they’re doing at school, their goals for the future, and even gave me an update on their class elections. Take a look!
It was good to be back in Michigan to support @JocelynBenson as your next Governor and @AbdulElSayed as your next U.S. Senator!
They are working to change the lives of Michiganders for the better. Make sure to vote early or on Election Day at
It’s the first day of early voting in Michigan, and I’m heading to Detroit for a rally to support @JocelynBenson, @AbdulElSayed, and Democrats working to create change.

Ohio, let's do what we can to elect @AmyActonOH as your next Governor and @SherrodBrown as your next U.S. Senator! They’ve dedicated their lives to fighting on behalf of all Ohioans.
If we’re willing to organize and mobilize, if we’re willing to turn out in big numbers in Ohio and across this country, if we’re willing to vote for change and vote for Democrats up and down the ballot, then this election might just mark the moment this country began moving in a better direction.
So make a plan to vote today at
RT @ObamaFoundation: It’s a beautiful night to be inspired, and there’s nothing like a gorgeous sunset walk around the Obama Presidential Center and the nearby Osaka Garden. These young @MBK_Alliance leaders not only care about their community — they care about each other. That’s the enduring spirit of mentorship, friendship and connection we hope to foster, whether you’re young or old.
On November 3rd, 36 states will elect their next governor. The outcome of these races will make a real difference in the lives of millions of people — but only if you vote.
So join me in electing @DemGovs:
Justice @Anita_Earls has spent her career fighting for civil rights and protecting voting rights. She’s the only candidate running for North Carolina’s Supreme Court with a proven record of standing up for all North Carolinians.

RT @DemRedistrict: A handful of state legislative races will decide if Wisconsin gets a Democratic trifecta.
Winning these seats would give us the power to respond if Republicans attempt to silence Black and Latino voters with gerrymandered maps for 2028.
We know what we need to do.
Georgia! I’ll be in Atlanta on October 28 for a rally to support @KeishaforGA, @Ossoff, and Democrats fighting to make your life better.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.
Change often starts from the ground up, and there are hundreds of state and local candidates this year who will stand up for their communities and fight for progress. These races will help shape our future, and it’s never been more important to get involved:
I’m coming for you, Ohio! Join me in Cleveland on October 24 for a rally to support @AmyActonOH, @SherrodBrown, and Democrats up and down the ballot.

RT @TheDemocrats: New powerful message from @BarackObama ahead of the midterms:
“Get involved and help Democrats win one of the most consequential elections in our country’s history. Because the most powerful office in this country has always been ‘citizen.’”
When I got to Chicago in the summer of 1985, Mike Ditka and the Chicago Bears were king. Coach Ditka set the tone for a team that was punishing, dominant, and fun — and the city loved him for it. I'm thinking of the Ditka family and Bears fans everywhere on the passing of a legend.
