MBK has taken the past several weeks to highlight our Ambassadors as they reach important milestones in their academic, professional, and personal journeys. Today, we’re celebrating Isaac Mack, a senior Business Administration major at the University of Michigan! This summer, Isaac completed an internship with Amazon Web Services on the Digital Acquisition team, where he led an outbound calling project focused on solution consulting and account development. Isaac’s journey reflects MBK Milestone 5: All Youth Out of School Are Employed. His experience is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when young men of color have the opportunity to build their skills, gain experience, and turn preparation into meaningful career success. We’re proud of you, Isaac, and excited to see where your journey takes you next!

He is a graduating senior with a BA in Broadcast Cinematic Art and a minor in Sport Management from Central Michigan University. Justin is taking his passion for storytelling to the Olympic stage as a digital commercial ad inserter with Peacock/NBCUniversal at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Justin’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when preparation meets opportunity and you bet on yourself. We’re proud of you, Justin, and excited to see where your journey takes you next. Congratulations!

That's a wrap! MBK-Obama Leadership Academy 2026 is officially in the books and what a summer it was. We’re especially grateful to our partner, Chicago Public Schools, for helping us create something special for more than 50 young men from three high schools in the communities surrounding the Obama Presidential Center. Rooted in MBK's Milestone 3: Graduate from High School, these young men spent the summer gaining graduation credits, life skills, and brotherhood. They came in as rising freshmen. They left ready to change their communities. Until next year!

Last week, MBK-Obama Leadership Academy participants earned one of their service learning credits by participating in a back-to-school backpack drive with Project I Am. Our young men packed 260 book bags with school supplies and toiletries and distributed them to communities in need. Prepping communities with vital school supplies advances MBK Milestone 3: ensuring all youth receive a quality high school education and graduate prepared for what's next.
