I want to learn about how to re-architect SQL environments before you move them to the cloud. When people say that, what does that mean? Anyone have blog posts or anything you can point me to? #sqlhelp

#sqlhelp looking for your recommendations. Dev wants to use [ID] for PK. Instead of [TableNameID]. Argument is that ORMs love using [ID]. Many perks in the EF world for its use. I say EF shouldn't dictate best practice in DB. Your thoughts?

I'd like to install the Standard edition of SQL 2017 to validate that some R and Python functionality doesn't require the Enterprise edition, but I don't have a license key. Do I have any options other than buying a Standard license or setting up a SQL VM in Azure? #sqlhelp

Table names. Plural or Singular. and why? I get making a standard for singular. But don't have a reason to argue why. #sqlhelp #sqlfamily

Day 26: Still practicing SQL. This was the coding language I was most excited to learn but I'm starting to get frustrated with the tutorial I'm following. Does anyone have suggestions for free SQL resources for beginners? #100daysofCode #sqlhelp

#sqlfamily, #sqlhelp once again finding that I need less improvement in technical skills and more in interpersonal. I'd love advice on learning to be a more effective and human communicator.

🎇 SQL is the bread and butter of an analyst. You can’t survive in the Data Science industry with a grip on this ‘easy-looking’ query language 🔥 📍 Learning 20% of what SQL can do should cover 80% of what you’ll need in day-to-day tasks #SQL #sqlhelp

Hey SQL friends. I am querying a view from a customer and some how it is returning trailing spaces. I want to make my own SQL Server view that returns trailing spaces. Any tips? I want "SY " not "SY". I have tried some different things but I always get "SY". #sqlhelp

Anyone have any real world experience with comparisons of Postgres vs Microsoft SQL Server? I've got a friend whos company is considering Postgres as their new platform and only saying "well, its cheaper". No other benchmark, just license cost. #sqlhelp I'm trying to to be bias.
