#sqlhelp My understanding of transactional replication is that occasionally it's going to fail and require a new snapshot. But, I'll freely admit I'm not that great with replication. Is this true? Or am I wrong? And if it is true is there any MS documentation to that effect?
Anyone have any real world experience with comparisons of Postgres vs Microsoft SQL Server? I've got a friend whos company is considering Postgres as their new platform and only saying "well, its cheaper". No other benchmark, just license cost. #sqlhelp I'm trying to to be bias.
