    matplotlib 1.4 allows interactive plots in #IPython notebooks. Just add matplotlib.use('nbagg') and you have pan/zoom

    #IPython 8.0.0b1 out please test. As there was few negative feedback since a1, this is directly a beta, and a "soft code freeze" until 8.0.0 final, might not even do a rc. Happy Holliday.

    Rarely used #IPython feature, if you have docrepr installed (pip install docrepr), you can get docstrings to render on the fly in the pager.
