Are you a #Jupyter user ? The new release of #IPython 8.0.0 makes your experience better in notebooks. Tracebacks now highlights errors location and contain input number for better readability, and faster debugging. Many other improvements:

Ok, it looks like #IPython 8 is out, for high level, for more technical stuff on @quansightai blog. Still some process to do in the backend for it to be on conda, documentation, ...

#IPython 5.x is so last year. We'll have gifts for you in 2017. Static type inference and better completion with thanks to (at least) jedi.

#IPython 7.24 is out. Thanks to @DEShawGroup the debugger can now hide and skip frames from readonly files. Less to read and less typing = Faster debugging. Read more:

#IPython 7.25 is out, if you use the debugger you really should upgrade: thanks @DEShawGroup for the bug reports, back and forth to narrow down the cause and of course always being on the bleeding edge and contributing back to open source.

#IPython 6.0 has been released with some great new features. Also, no #Python 2 support for IPython 6+.
