    Let's talk C2 frameworks. Command-and-control (#C2) frameworks are commonly used in penetration testing and red team engagements. They allow testers to interact with systems they've gained access to, execute commands and scripts remotely, collect results, and manage multiple hosts during an authorized assessment. We've highlighted five C2 frameworks worth knowing. And the best part? Four of them are open source! - 𝗖𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲 - 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 - 𝗣𝘂𝗽𝘆 - 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 - 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝟮 Of course, this is just a starting point. 🧑‍💻 What would you add to the list? Got a favorite we missed? We know this community has opinions, and we want to hear them! And if you want to really accelerate your pentesting journey and broaden your skillset, consider one of our certs like the PJPT (Practical Junior Penetration Tester).

    Got my first tiny contribution merged in #cpython, everyone was super nice and reactive, the docs are great, big thanks to the #Python core devs. Same contribution was merged in #PyPy a few weeks ago. Wonderful community!

    Four years ago, I proposed a technique for smaller, faster dicts. Now it is a reality in both #cpython and #pypy :-)

    If you dislike PyPy's decision to stay on mercurial, making insulting anonymous comments on our blog is not the way to communicate your concerns. Please be constructive and chose an appropriate forum (like the pypy-dev mailing list, or #pypy on freenode if need be).

    #python idiosyncrasy: Floor division is implemented as divmod(num, den)[0] rather than as math.floor(num / den). >>> 4.0 // 0.4 == divmod(4.0, 0.4)[0] True >>> 4.0 // 0.4 == math.floor(4.0 / 0.4) False AFAICT, there is no way to fix this without making something else worse.

    @raymondh
    FWIW, #numpy and #pypy made the same implementation decisions as CPython. They too have defined n // d as divmod(n, d)[0]. Perhaps I'm the only one who is surprised by floor division not being the floor of a division :-)
