Alibaba DAMO Academy has unveiled new AI models to advance early cancer detection and tackle critical global health challenges. DAMO EAGLE, designed for the early detection of esophageal cancer, expands DAMO’s suite of cancer detection models, which already cover pancreatic, gastric, colorectal, and liver malignancies. DAMO RADAR, a generalist medical imaging AI model, is capable of identifying 146+ conditions from a single CT scan, marking a breakthrough in multi-disease abdominal detection.
