Using Lurkbird

Lurkbird is free and needs no account. You may use it for personal, lawful purposes.

Don't abuse the service: no automated bulk scraping, no attempts to overload it or bypass its rate limits, and no use that breaks the law or the rights of others.

We may rate-limit, cache or block requests, and we may suspend access at any time.

Content belongs to its authors

Posts, profiles, images and videos shown on Lurkbird are public content created by X users and belong to them and to X Corp. Lurkbird displays that content; it does not own it.

Lurkbird is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. "X" is used only to describe the source of the content.

We only show public content. Protected or suspended accounts are never displayed.

Media and downloads

Media is loaded directly from X's servers and is never stored by Lurkbird. The download route streams a file to you as-is.

You are responsible for how you use any content you view or download, including any copyright that applies to it.

Removal and copyright

If you own an X account and want its profile hidden from Lurkbird, use the removal page.

No warranty

Lurkbird is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Content comes from X and may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms and the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
