Richard🇺🇲RT @adeniyialiu007: For almost a year, the same cashier at my local supermarket kept charging me less than the price of my groceries. At first, I thought it was a mistake. Then it happened again. And again. I started checking my receipts, but everything looked normal. She simply left one or two items off the bill. I began shopping at her checkout deliberately. I figured if she was giving me discounts, I might as well enjoy them. One afternoon, I arrived with a basket full of groceries. She scanned everything, looked at the total, and quietly removed a carton of milk. I finally asked her why she kept doing it. She looked around to make sure nobody was listening. "Because every Thursday, you buy the same things," she said. "Bread, milk, eggs, and those little biscuits." I nodded, confused. "My son used to buy those biscuits every Thursday before he died. He was about your age." She looked down at the counter. "When I see you come in, I remember him. I know it's silly, but sometimes I feel like I'm helping him one more time." I didn't know what to say. I told her I was sorry about her son and paid for the milk02109
