According to Carnegie Endowment For International Peace, Russia has been facing its most dangerous demographic crisis since the 90's, recording 1.22 million births in 2024, marking one of the lowest annual totals in modern history, with the total fertility rate sitting around 1.3 to 1.4 children per woman—well below the 2.1 replacement level (Carnegie Politika, 2025). The Council on Foreign Relations states that, "For the past decade, Russia’s natural population growth rate has hovered around zero." (CFR) With extremely low birth rates being juxtaposed with high abortion rates, emigration rates, and battlefield losses, Russia has abducted or forcefully deported over 20,000 Ukrainian children...Their names changed. Their language forbidden. Many falsely told their families no longer want them. Unmengen an Munition und Person erreichen Positionen die lange unerreicht blieben. Die Positionen werden befestigt und ausgebaut. Diese Waffenruhe war nie für Frieden gedacht. Sie gibt Russland die Ruhe um sich auf einen eventuellen Sturm auf Kherson vorzubereiten. Der einzige Trost für uns: wir werden einige alte, kranke, verletzte davor rausbringen können. Mark my words: danach bricht in Kherson die Hölle auf Erden ein. Viele im Team gehen davon aus das man Einwohner zwingt die Simferopol Route zu wählen um die Propaganda mit „all diese Menschen haben sich für Russland entschieden“‘zu füttern. Mein Appell an die Bewohner die es lesen: ich weiß wie sehr ihr Auto Stadt liebt aber um sie wieder aufbauen zu können müsst ihr überleben. Falls ihr Verwandte habt nutzt die Chance nun. Unsere Teams sind bereits seit mehr als 24h mit der kompletten Flotte unterwegs um Menschen zu erreichen und zu evakuieren. Die Fahrten sind trotzdem sehr gefährlich aufgrund der hohen Anzahl an Minen überall. Nur wenige Stunden nach der Waffenruhe wurde ein Kameramann mitten im Stadtzentrum wegen einer solchen getötet. Die Menschen aus Oleshky könnten über den Fluss gebracht werden das wird aber aktuell versucht zu verhindern. Russland will diese auf die Krim evakuieren - immerhin gäbe es dort Lebensmittel und Wasser. Freiheit aber nicht. Diese kurze Pause ist trügerisch, niemand vertraut ihr. Alle Teams fahren mit gepanzerten Autos und haben ihre Körperpanzerung an. Spannend ist aber das wir nun endlich aktuelle Aufnahmen der Fluss nahen Dörfer haben und die Zerstörung ist leider massiv. Danke an @bravery_ev die bereits im vornherein dafür gesorgt haben das alle Autos repariert und ready sind für diesen Moment!0384063.7K
