You are being lied to. They keep handing you one number and calling it the whole story. The rest of the water demand stay off the page so the new facility looks like the only pressure that matters. That is not reporting. It is a choice about what you are allowed to get angry at.

You see the same story cycle. A new data center is proposed. Coverage treats its water use as the central fact. The piece places that use next to ordinary households and stops. Larger, older demands stay outside the frame. The omission is the argument. We are not shown the full set of demand. They are showing one category in isolation. Once that category is the only number on the page, it becomes the thing that looks excessive. The method does not invent figures. It selects which figures count as the story. Power-plant water is folded into the same accounts. The volume is presented as if it exists only because of the servers. Other loads on the same grid remain unmentioned. The result is a larger total that can be cited without the rest of the context. Readers who do not track the difference accept the expanded claim. Established uses receive different treatment. Agriculture, municipal systems, and long-running outdoor irrigation continue at much higher volumes. Those volumes rarely open the coverage. They stay in background reports. The newer use is the one framed as the novel pressure that requires attention and limits. The pattern does not depend on any single location or facility. It depends on keeping the comparison narrow. After enough cycles the narrow comparison becomes the public understanding. The larger picture remains available in public records. It is not the version that reaches most people. You are being lied to.

Can anyone explain to me why I should buy a 4090 or 5090 over a dgx spark. Also I have 16, 16x 3200mhz ddr4 ecc sdram and 2 Intel Xeon Platinum 8268 gpus in my rig, should I strip it and by a DGX spark or just get the gpu upgrade
