World Animal Protection

Opossums can eat up to 5,000 ticks in a single season.

Around opossums, myths and misinformation have been built, but the truth is they are far more than that.

And they need our protection.

Donkeys are at risk of extinction.

The main reasons are their exploitation for heavy load work and the demand for skins used in traditional medicines.

Thanks to the efforts of organisations and communities, sustainable and ethical plant-based alternatives are being promoted, proving that medicine can heal without animal suffering. By choosing these options, you help protect donkeys and safeguard their welfare.

For years, it was believed that animals’ emotions were impossible to measure but science has proved otherwise. Over the past two decades, research into animal sentience has grown enormously, revealing that their emotional lives are as complex as they are fascinating.

Today we know that their body language and behaviours tell us how they feel, and neuroscience confirms brain structures capable of processing pain, fear and joy. 🔗J oin our movement to protect animals exploited in tourism.

They are the reason behind every step we take.

Thanks to strong alliances and the support of those who believe in animal welfare, we continue building a future where their freedom comes first.

The challenge is great, but hope is stronger. Putting animals first is believing in a fairer world. Share this if you too dream of a future transformed.
