Wetherspoons should hold its hands up, apologise, deal with whoever made that decision and move on. Most people like Wetherspoons, and Tim Martin has always presented himself as proudly British.

🚨SHOCKING: Last night, a young woman was GLASSED IN THE FACE after refusing unwanted advances by one of our “undesirables” in Billericay.
She was left outside the Crown Pub, ALONE, where she suffered a seizure before members of the public, police and paramedics came to help. Basildon Hospital have been praised for the care they gave her.
This is absolutely sickening. No woman should ever be attacked because she said NO. The circumstances surrounding the pub’s security and lack of intervention and support need to be fully investigated.
My thoughts are with this young woman and her family. Reform UK are firm that women should be able to go out in public without fearing violence from certain communities who do not respect them.

Essex Police stopped vehicles and 29 illegal migrants were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences. Well done to them for doing the right thing.

Firstly, congratulations to Gavin Taylor on his election victory. I have won three elections in recent times and I know just how emotional and special that moment is.
Secondly, I could not be prouder of Denise Martin, our volunteers and every resident who backed us. Let’s be clear… out of all 14 wards across the borough, Billericay East is probably the hardest for Reform UK to crack. Yet we held our ground and maintained our core support from May despite everything thrown at Reform nationally.
And look what it took to stop us… 5 MPs, 2 Shadow Ministers, the Conservative Party Chief Whip and nearly 50 Young Conservatives fighting over a Town Council seat they spent weeks telling everyone “didn’t matter”.
Now their candidate will sit as an independent after campaigning under the Conservative banner for six weeks. Even he appears embarrassed by the association, and frankly, who can blame him?
They won this battle. Fine. But Reform UK will contest every ward, every council and every level of government. We made them sweat for six weeks, and their celebrations today tell you exactly how nervous they were.

🚨BREAKING: A Conservative voter threatened to SHOOT me at a polling station yesterday, in Billericay East.
A fellow Reform UK Councillor and I were forced to leave Billericay, and abandon our polling day operation, after threats to kill us were made by who I can only describe as an absolute lunatic.
I will not be bullied out of public life, let me make myself very clear on that. Challenge my politics all you like but threaten me with a gun, and you cross a line that cannot be ignored.
