Former Army JAG here. No quarter orders are a violation of the law of war and Geneva conventions. This is the same order reportedly given during the Caribbean boat strikes. @SecWar is establishing a pattern of issuing illegal orders. I’ve trained hundreds of soldiers on the law of war — our service members have an obligation to follow that law.

Hegseth: No quarter, no mercy for our enemies. Yet some in the press just can't stop. More fake news from CNN reports that the Trump administration underestimated the Iran war's impact on the strait of hormuz. The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.

Last week, I had the opportunity to tour Empowerhouse, an organization doing incredible work to support survivors of domestic violence in our region. I’m grateful for the dedicated staff and advocates who work tirelessly to make sure survivors receive the safety, support, and resources they need to heal and rebuild their lives.

Orange County is home to Goodwin Cattle Farm, a fifth-generation, family-owned and operated cattle farm with deep roots in our community. As the only Virginian on the House Agriculture Committee, I'm always proud to recognize the hardworking farmers who help keep Virginia agriculture strong!

When a handful of giant corporations dominate the markets for everyday essentials, hardworking Americans pay the price. My American Cost of Living Defense Act will expose corporate practices that may be driving up costs and help hold powerful corporations accountable. For too long, big corporations have had the upper hand while working families pay more and get less. It's time to put consumers first and bring down costs for hardworking Americans.

Secretary Hegseth told me himself that the Department of Defense prepared for every possible outcome of going to war with Iran. @POTUS and @SecWar knew exactly what could happen. They chose this path anyway. Eight months later, our troops are still paying the price for a war they chose to start without a plan to finish.

Families are already paying too much for groceries. The last thing they need is for stores to use their personal information to charge them even more. The price of milk, eggs, and bread shouldn't depend on who's buying them. I'm introducing legislation to crack down on invasive pricing practices, protect consumers' privacy, and ensure hardworking Americans get a fair price at checkout.

I’m proud to announce $4.7 million in grants supporting educational programs in more than 90 national parks across the country — including right here in Virginia. Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park will use these funds to help students visit our national parks, connect with park rangers, and learn about the history and natural beauty of our public lands. Investments like these help ensure students have the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.

On Tuesday, I was glad to join @SenTimKaine, @RepSuhas, and community leaders for the Washington Manassas Airport's new air traffic control tower groundbreaking!
