RT @front_ukrainian: ❗️🇺🇦Ukrainian ground drone with AI independently covered 19 km for the first time during a logistics mission During the vehicle’s movement, cameras recognize the road, shoulders, and obstacles in real time. The AI independently makes decisions on maneuvering, while the operator can adjust the route and set the speed on individual sections. The use of artificial intelligence makes it possible to reduce the dependence of ground robotic complexes on a constant communication channel, in particular Starlink. Source: Militarnyi

This got me wondering if a such a convoy belonged to an oligarch/wealthy individual with knowledge of how drones can potentially attack such vehicles, would these cars then be equipped with drone detectors and EW systems and jammers, just in case?

RT @7corpsDSHV: How Modern Military Engineering Turned the Minefields of the russian-Ukrainian War into a Smart, High-tech Weapon. At the start of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, laying mines meant severe danger. Sappers, loaded down with heavy ordnance, had to physically walk to the frontline to plant explosives just kilometers away from enemy positions. Today, the logic of combat has completely changed. Lt. Col. Maksym Dyachuk from the Support Forces of 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine breaks down how remote mining has evolved in his piece for Oboronka, the military-oriented outlet of Ukrainska Pravda & Mezha: Here is how Ukrainian paratroopers are using technology to outsmart and outpace the enemy: 1️⃣ The Technological Shift: From Boots on the Ground to Drones: In 2022, frontline mining carried immense risks. Over time, Western artillery munitions (like RAAMS and HIMARS cluster rounds) helped in extending the reach. But as russian tactics shifted away from massive armored columns toward small infantry infiltration groups, Ukrainian mining tools changed too. Heavy bomber drones - such as Vampire, Kazhan, and Nemesis - now act as "mine trucks." They can carry dozens of kilograms of payload to rapidly re-mine routes the moment the enemy tries to clear them. 2️⃣ The Numbers Behind the Minefield Competition: The stats speak for themselves: * 98% anti-personnel mines: With the enemy relying on infiltration tactics rather than mechanized assaults, the structure of modern minefields has adapted. * 10 to 1 ratio: On certain sectors of the front, Ukrainian forces maintain a massive advantage in the volume of deployed mines compared to the adversary. * Staggering losses: In just a single month, Russian forces lost nearly 1,100 personnel and 119 units of equipment attempting to navigate these zones. 3️⃣ Digitization at Scale: You cannot manage tens of thousands of individual mines on a paper map. The 7th Corps relies heavily on Ukraine's situational awareness system, DELTA. It allows engineers to plan, track, and analyze the placement of over 30,000 single mines in real-time, ensuring precise control over the entire defensive grid. 4️⃣ Smart, Controlled Detonation: Modern defensive lines no longer just "wait" for the enemy. Ukrainian airborne forces utilize remote and controlled detonation mechanisms. Unlike traditional pressure-triggered traps that risk accidental triggers from wildlife or falling branches, these systems allow operators to activate the charge precisely when targeted enemy forces are passing through - maximizing impact while guaranteeing the safety of our own personnel. Mining has evolved from one of the war's most hazardous manual tasks into a sophisticated chess match involving intelligence, logistics, drones, and digital software. It goes beyond just stopping the adversaries - it disrupts their momentum, strips away their mobility, and turns them into vulnerable targets.

RT @DefenceU: Amphibious UGVs now have their own category on Brave1 Market @BRAVEua. These robots handle rough terrain on land and can carry cargo across rivers, canals, and marshland. The first three are already listed: BI34G, Toni, and Triton. The technology has already proven itself in combat. The 93rd Mechanized Brigade’s Alter Ego unit recently ran the first-ever combat mission with an amphibious robot, covering more than 40 km over land and water to deliver provisions and ammunition to positions. Units will soon be able to order amphibious UGVs through ePoints as well. Read more:

RT @Drone_Wars_: Ukrainian company Robotic Complexes is developing a specialized CASEEVAK module for the Murakha unmanned ground vehicle, Militarnyi reported. The armored capsule is made of 3.5 mm Armox 500T steel with HDPE 1000 lining and includes ventilation, heating, lighting, a first-aid kit, day/night cameras and two-way audio. Side and rear doors allow loading from any side. Control runs via ELRS, LTE, Starlink or fiber-optic links, with two independent channels if the capsule detaches. The platform uses two electric motors with 1,600 N·m combined torque and a 35 kWh battery for up to 80 kilometres (50 miles) of range. Ballistic tests of the armor steel have been conducted at 50 metres (164 feet). Development of slat armor against FPV drones is underway. The system is intended to protect and monitor wounded personnel during evacuation. Source: Militarnyi #Ukraine #RoboticComplexes #Murakha #UGV #CASEEVAK #MedEvac #DroneWars
