Good news on the new budget from @JohnHealey_MP with a strong commitment on defence. The UK role in transatlantic security is vital, and I welcome this move to put 🇬🇧 on a credible path towards meeting the commitment made by all NATO Allies in The Hague - to ensure we’re all investing what’s needed to remain ready & able to deter aggression and defend our freedom and security

Good to see President @ZelenskyyUa in Brussels. We talked about the importance of implementing an energy ceasefire as well as NATO Allies’ continuous support for Ukraine, including through the PURL mechanism

Good meeting with 🇧🇬 Bulgarian PM @RumenRadevPM and 🇷🇴 Romanian President @NicusorDanRO about security in the Black Sea & the latest attacks on commercial shipping. NATO has strengthened our posture along the eastern flank including with increasing counter-drone capabilities. NATO will continue to work closely with our Allies in the Black Sea, adjusting our deterrence and defence posture as needed

Always a pleasure to be in Tallinn 🇪🇪. Met President @YlleMadise & PM @KristenMichalPM to discuss how we keep #NATO strong & #Estonia secure. NATO is with you & it is clear that you are with NATO too, making crucial contributions to our collective defence

I spoke with Bulgarian PM @RumenRadevPM about the latest attacks on commercial shipping in the Black Sea. NATO will continue to work closely with our Allies in the Black Sea. We have already strengthened our posture along the eastern flank and will continue to monitor the security environment, adjusting our deterrence and defence posture as needed

I welcome the statement by 29 Allies & partners and echo their denouncement of Iran’s involvement in violence and threats on Allied territory, including the incident at RAF Fairford on 27 September NATO will continue to do its part to safeguard the security of our one billion people across the Alliance

Excellent visit to the First German-Netherlands Corps @1GENLCorps with 🇩🇪 @bundeskanzler and 🇳🇱 @minpres - yet another example of European Allies stepping up We welcome 🇩🇪🇳🇱 leadership in doing more for our shared security: with troops on the eastern flank, aircraft to keep the skies safe & navies protecting critical infrastructure in the Baltic Sea and beyond

Glad to welcome 🇱🇹 Prime Minister @mindaugassink to NATO HQ for the first time Lithuania is helping to build a stronger Europe in a stronger #NATO, leading by example on defence spending and as a staunch supporter of Ukraine

Honoured to speak at the 9/11 Memorial Museum, a powerful place of remembrance The 9/11 attacks changed lives and they changed the world 25 years later, we remain united in our determination to safeguard our freedom, protect from aggression & make sure an attack like 9/11 never happens again

Just saw my dear friend, @ZelenskyyUa As Russia continues its terrible attacks on Ukraine and tries to rattle Allies to get them to slow their support, our response is clear. We’ll keep calm, carry on growing more capable, and continue to support Ukraine

Glad to be in Iowa 🇺🇸 We had an excellent conversation hosted by @ChicagoCouncil on what #NATO is all about: delivering real security for 1bn people, including 340 million here in the US Our freedom and security matter and we can secure them best by working together

Great to see the deal signed by the United States, Denmark, and Greenland today. We know the threats we face, and greater security in the Arctic and North Atlantic is essential for Europe and North America alike. This agreement, along with NATO’s growing role in securing this vital region, enhances our collective security and supports a safer and more stable future for us all

#NATO will not be intimidated by Russia’s campaign of hostile actions. Their actions will only lead us to do more for Ukraine We will keep Ukraine strong, so peace can prevail

The United Kingdom has a central role in building a stronger Europe in a stronger #NATO Together, in NATO, we will defend our people, our freedoms & our democracies We always have & we always will

We’re rebalancing our Alliance: a stronger #NATO with Europe & Canada spending more, producing more and doing more for their security Building for our future This is NATO 3.0

Great to meet with 🇬🇧 Prime Minister @andyburnham. The UK is one of the leading Allies in #NATO. Together, in our Alliance, we are protecting our people and defending our democracies. I welcome the planned increases in UK defence spending, because we face a more dangerous world. Investing in defence also helps grow economies and creates jobs

Good to see Prime Minister @JJansaSDS again. Slovenia 🇸🇮 is a steadfast #NATO Ally, with a strong commitment to our collective deterrence and defence, to ramping up defence spending and continuing to support Ukraine

On this 25th anniversary of the attacks on the United States on 9/11, we honour the memory of all those who lost their lives In that moment of darkness, Allies stood together. For the first and only time in #NATO’s history, we invoked Article 5 America’s friends and Allies in NATO stood with you then and we stand with you today

Great to speak at the Conference of the Heads of German Missions in Berlin One thing is certain: Allies are determined to build a stronger Europe in a stronger NATO – NATO 3.0 Germany and other European Allies and Canada are stepping up – with increased defence spending and production – to ensure we can keep our people safe, today and in the future

Together with @EU_Commission President @vonderleyen, I welcome the agreement by the EU member states on the derogation for Ukraine to purchase crucial products for Patriot air defence systems. The next disbursement of $3.5 billion will enable Ukraine to better protect its skies from Russia’s indiscriminate attacks. Over the past year, #NATO Allies have allocated over $10 billion to PURL and US Foreign Military Sales for Ukraine. NATO and the EU will continue to work hand in hand to support Ukraine. It is yet another example of Europe stepping up.
