At around 3am this morning, I filmed a migrant boat launching from a Belgian beach, just across the French border, heading towards the UK. Belgian authorities were present and appeared to watch as the boat departed. Iโ€™ve spent months documenting crossings from France, but this is the first time Iโ€™ve captured a launch from Belgium. As far as Iโ€™m aware, this could be the first time such a launch has been caught on camera. Iโ€™m sharing the full footage so people can see exactly what happened and draw their own conclusions.
