Donald Trump has disclosed more than 9,200 stock trades in the first eight months of 2026. Meta. Oracle. Microsoft. SpaceX bonds. Alphabet. ConocoPhillips. Every one is public. Almost nobody reads them. When Oracle jumps 11% or Alphabet drops 10%, we check what the President's accounts did first. Follow along.

He gave Michael Dell a medal in October. They don't need to talk.

How to track Trump's trades yourself: 1. He files OGE Form 278-T reports with the Office of Government Ethics. 2. Each trade is listed as a range, from $1,001 to $15,000 up to $5 million to $25 million. 3. His August trades, all 517, were made public October 8. 4. Look up the price on the trade date. Compare it to today. That's the whole system. We do it every time a filing drops.

October 8: Trump's ethics filing shows August trades in Nvidia, Tesla, SpaceX, Alphabet, AMD, Dell and Microsoft. Same day: Trump hands out national medals to Elon Musk, Sergey Brin, Jensen Huang, Lisa Su, Michael Dell and Satya Nadella. Seven companies traded. Six CEOs and founders honored. The Trump Organization says neither Trump, his family, nor the company plays any role in selecting investments.

And now Trump is repaying it back by starting Middle East Wars. Disgusting

January 6: Trump's accounts buy $500,000 to $1 million of Nvidia and $50,000 to $100,000 of AMD. January 13: His Commerce Department loosens the rules on selling AI chips to China. January 23: AMD is up 28%. Seventeen days, start to finish.

You're telling me the President owns up to $23.1 million of Chevron AND up to $18.4 million of Exxon AND gas is up 40% in a year AND his trades show up weeks after he makes them AND the House voted to ban itself from trading stocks, but the bill doesn't cover him And we're the ones who get banned for posting it.

Congress voted to ban its own members from buying individual stocks. Should the same ban apply to the President? Yes or no.

Trump's oil and gas stocks are now worth $22.5 million to $81.6 million, according to a report from Democrats on the Joint Economic Committee. At the end of 2025 they were worth $12.6 million to $46 million. Gas was $2.87 before the war. It's $4.29 now. The White House says there are no conflicts of interest.

The White House says Trump's portfolio is run by independent managers replicating indexes like the Schwab 1000. Index funds rebalance. 517 trades in one month is a lot of rebalancing.

On August 10 Trump's portfolio bought Strategy $MSTR and sold Coinbase $COIN. Strategy is up 54% since. A president whose administration sets crypto policy is trading crypto stocks, and Washington has mostly stopped asking about it.

Should a sitting President be allowed to own and trade individual stocks? Yes or no.

The same day Trump was set to give Jensen Huang the National Medal of Science, his disclosure showed up to $1.6 million in Nvidia stock purchases. His administration is also weighing export rules that could move Nvidia's stock. The White House says there are no conflicts of interest.

Trump's own disclosure shows 517 stock trades in August alone. The biggest one: a Meta purchase worth $5 million to $25 million on August 21. Meta is up about 31% since. The White House says outside managers make every decision. Must be nice to have managers that good.

You just know Donald Trump is going to be buying stocks in size here.

Tax-loss selling is starting early this year. Earlier than I've seen in years. Millions of investors are dumping stocks right now for one reason: taxes. Not earnings. Not guidance. Not fundamentals. That forced selling is pushing good companies below what they're actually worth. Here's the mistake almost everyone makes when hunting for these bargains: They screen for the biggest losers of the year. Wrong number. Someone who bought in 2019 might still be sitting on a gain. They have nothing to harvest. They're not selling. The number that matters is how far a stock trades below this year's average purchase price, its year-to-date VWAP. That tells you how many holders are underwater right now, and how much selling pressure is still coming. Big gap below YTD VWAP = lots of trapped holders = more forced selling = bigger dislocation.
