The investigation found that some of the women had previously contacted the clinics as egg donors before being connected with people seeking a surrogate. Nine individuals – doctors, administrative staff, psychologists and lawyers – were initially investigated in relation to 14 cases involving 13 women. A separate federal investigation in Buenos Aires is examining a similar alleged scheme: prosecutors identified at least 49 surrogacy cases sharing features with the case that triggered that inquiry.” This may be unrelated but in 2024 we submitted 7 examples of the movement of babies across borders to the Procuraduría de Trata y Explotación de Personas (Argentinian department which handles human trafficking and exploitation).

She agreed to surrogacy through artificial insemination…But artificial insemination was too expensive for the couple. So, according to prosecutors, they demanded SEX instead. What followed was allegedly a nightmare of RAPE, SEXUAL EXPLOITATION, VIOLENCE, THREATS and CAPTIVITY. Prosecutors are now seeking more than 70 YEARS in prison for each accused. This is surrogacy.
