New Database Support and Deployment Improvements in cPanel AI App Hosting
The latest AI App Hosting updates make it easier to deploy, configure, and manage web applications from cPanel.
What’s new?
✔️ MySQL database support: Create a database for an application or link an existing one in the wizard or when managing an existing app. Connection details are provided to the app as environment variables, with database management available in Meridian 1.4.0-1 or later.
✔️ More reliable redeployments: Configuration changes to startup commands, environment variables, and resource limits now take effect when you redeploy an application.
✔️ Improved framework detection: TanStack Start applications are now detected and configured as Node.js server applications. Because Lovable uses TanStack by default for new projects, those projects now deploy and run correctly in AI App Hosting.
✔️ CloudLinux startup fix: Applications deployed through cPanel now start correctly on CloudLinux servers when the account’s process limit previously prevented them from starting.
✔️Deployment file cleanup: A new script helps identify and remove old staging directories, interrupted uploads, and deploy logs.
Deploy Node.js applications, whether hand-coded or built with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Lovable, Bolt, v0, and Replit, and manage them alongside the rest of your hosting.
