EthCC - Ethereum Community Conference✓

Four days of talks at the Palais, meetings along the Croisette, and dinners in Le Suquet...🇫🇷 Cannes not come soon enough! 🇫🇷 We're celebrating 10 editions in a BIG way! 🩵 EthCC[10] 📍 Cannes, France 📅 April 12–15, 2027

From the EthCC stage in 2018 to a $30 billion rollup ecosystem today. As we count down to EthCC[10], we're revisiting the ideas, debates and early experiments on our stages that helped shape the industry. Ethereum scaling has come a long way. First up: rollups 👇

At the very first EthCC, @VitalikButerin and @karl_dot_tech were exploring Plasma Cash, an early approach to Ethereum scaling. Karl later went on to co-found @Optimism, while rollups became central to Ethereum's roadmap. Not every idea becomes the final answer. But these early conversations help move the industry forward.

Six years ago, Vitalik was talking Eth2 behind those doors. Just 12 days later, France (and then the world) locked down. We've come a long way. Next April: EthCC[10], in Cannes 💙❤️🩵 Which OG's were there in 2020?

who remembers ethCC 2020?

Speaker applications are open for EthCC[10]! 🎤 Our programme is carefully curated to bring forward original thinking, technical expertise and perspectives that challenge how we think about the future of the industry. It's what has made the EthCC stage a place where ideas are heard, challenged and carried beyond the conference. Think you have something worth bringing to the stage? We'd love to hear it! April 12–15, 2027 | Cannes, France
