Europe’s first 4 ITER Divertor Cassette Bodies are on their way! The four units manufactured by @simicspa arrived in Port-Saint-Louis, France, where they will continue their journey towards final divertor assembly. Made in Europe, manufactured in Italy. 🇪🇺🇮🇹

From the top, one can see two radial beams have been removed. 🏗️ That means the load of these sectors has been transferred to the gravity supports underneath. The fully assembled ITER vacuum vessel will weigh around 5,200 tonnes. Now that’s a lot to shoulder. 💪

Turning commitment into action: Europe signs the first Procurement Arrangements for @IFMIF_DONES ✍️ F4E will provide a major contribution to build the pioneering facility in Granada, including key accelerator technologies. Let's get to work! 📰

Fresh talent incoming: welcome to F4E’s new trainees! ☀️ This month we welcomed 45 trainees from all across Europe, joining us in Barcelona, Cadarache and Garching. Hop on and enjoy the ride to #FusionEnergy!

Swiss expertise to light up ITER 🇪🇺⚡️🇨🇭 F4E and Ampegon are working together to test the power supplies for ITER’s plasma heating. In parallel, @iterorg has entrusted two additional units to Europe, a reward to our strong know-how.

The journey of F4E’s current trainees is coming to an end. 2 years ago we welcomed 40 young professionals brimming with fresh talent and ideas. Today we bid them farewell, proud of their evolution and grateful for their contribution. We’ll miss them — but will they miss us? 😉

The first Inner Vertical Target is ready for ITER🤝🚀 F4E and Research Instruments, together with @iterorg and over 60 subcontractors, completed this complex plasma-facing component. Europe’s supply chain has proven it can master yet another challenge.
