photorealistic fps game with claude opus 5.5 + godot.. exported for mac and windows the trick is running everything through conversation with opus. here’s the workflow: - step 1: concept images for the port, the guns and the mood with gpt image gen - step 2: 3d models of the port and the guns with blender + tripo - step 3: soldiers and their animations from mixamo - step 4: opus builds the level in godot: containers, cranes, the ship, the warehouses - step 5: lighting: night sky, wet ground, street lamps, fire barrels - step 6: ui: menu, hud, minimap, loadout and gun selection, mission results - step 7: sound effects from sonniss - step 8: export mac and windows builds who does what: > gpt: concept images and textures > blender + tripo: the port and the guns > mixamo: the soldiers > godot: the game > opus 5.5: everything inside godot, through chat realism comes from textures and lighting, not polygons. good photos on simple shapes go a long way (dev: samamiku4)rewind @rewind02one concept art image into a real 3d level with claude opus 5.5 + godot... opus “churned for 33m 5s” the trick is scoring the render against the reference instead of eyeballing it, smart way to set it up: - step 1: pick one reference image as the target look - step 2: have opus generate the level in code from a seed (rust + godot 4.7) - step 3: build everything from small pieces: single stones, mixed flagstones, single planks, chains - step 4: skip textures: stone, wood, brass, cloth and flame are all procedural shaders - step 5: have opus write a script that compares the render with the reference (color, light, contrast, detail) and gives a 0-100 score - step 6: fix the scene first: lighting, haze, layout - step 7: auto-fit a color grade (lut) to the reference as the final step - step 8: loop: render > score > side-by-side > change one thing i like this way more than image gen > 3d model > cleanup one generator instead of 100 assets, and no generation credits burned2261045.2K

Today’s quick lesson: Containers Software containers = shipping containers. Before: chaotic cargo in all sizes → slow & fragile. Now: standard boxes that stack, lock & move truck → ship → train without unpacking. Same for software: package app + code + libraries + config into one portable unit. Runs the same everywhere. No more “works on my machine.”Lightweight. Consistent. Scalable.13055583

Kubernetes series : 2/ WTF is a Pod in Kubernetes? Docker runs containers. Kubernetes runs Pods that hold containers. Imagine your app needs a main container and a helper container to collect logs. Both can live inside the same Pod and share the same network. Think of a Pod as a box holding containers that need to work together. That’s it.Mashood K @fromcodetocloud2 Major things to remember on what actually happens when you deploy an app to Kubernetes? 1. The Control Plane decides where your app should run. 2. Worker Nodes run your Pods. That’s Kubernetes architecture in a nutshell.5728594

Drop Site@DropSiteNews🇮🇹 Port workers across Europe, Africa, Asia and North America plan to strike Friday to protest weapons shipments to war zones. Organizers say the action could stall about 40,000 shipping containers across some 100 ports in 17 countries, from Oakland to Hamburg to Veracruz, Progressive International reports. Organizers condemned the genocide of the Palestinian people, perpetrated by Israel with US, NATO and EU backing. They are also demanding an end to ports serving as bases for Western militaries, an end to European rearmament, and higher wages. In Italy, eight ports will strike, and the rank-and-file union USB has called a general strike across every sector. Seventeen Palestinian trade union bodies have endorsed the action. Livorno offered a preview last week. Global Sumud Flotilla sailboats kept a ship that unions say supplies the US Navy base at Sigonella, in Sicily, out of port for six hours, and dockworkers then refused to load it. Police seized the boats and reported 10 activists to prosecutors. On Monday, flotilla boats blocked the same ship off Sicily, and police reported 10 more. 🔗 Link in reply.722453818K
The Great Lego Spill: On 13 February 1997 a huge wave hit the container ship Tokio Express about 20 miles off Land's End, and 62 containers went overboard. One of them held 4,756,940 Lego pieces, many of them sea-themed: dragons, octopuses, life rings, flippers and spear guns. About half of them float, and beachcombers in Cornwall still find them today. This is a drift simulation of the floating half over five years, from 1997 to 2002, with the real daily currents and winds. Data: E.U. India Sets an Ambitious Target for Container Manufacturing! Yesterday, the Government approved a ₹10,000 crore scheme to manufacture shipping containers in India. India currently has an annual manufacturing capacity of around 70,000 TEUs. The target is to increase this nearly 10-fold to 7.5 lakh TEUs. The scheme includes: • ₹8,891 crore for operational expenditure support • ₹859 crore for 3% interest subvention on eligible manufacturing loans • ₹150 crore for testing and certification facilities India's container traffic is projected to grow from 24 million TEUs in 2024 to 175 million TEUs by 2047. With China manufacturing over 90% of the world's shipping containers, India wants to reduce its dependence on imports. And we have already taken some important steps. In July 2026, global shipping giant Maersk unveiled its first India-manufactured EXIM container at Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, and placed an order for another 1,000 containers. The container was manufactured by the DCM Shriram Group. Which listed Indian companies are participating in this opportunity? 🧵👇 1. DCM Shriram International 🔹 Holds a 49.28% stake in DCM Hyundai, associated with the DCM Containers business. 🔹 July 2026: Manufactured India's first EXIM shipping container procured by global shipping major Maersk. 🔹 Maersk subsequently announced an order for another 1,000 Made-in-India containers. 🔹 The initial container successfully passed international ISO structural tests and obtained CSC safety approval. 2. Kalyani Cast-Tech 🔹 Manufactures shipping containers, specialised steel containers and container-related components. 🔹 Installed container capacity of approximately 12,000 TEUs following its Gujarat expansion. 🔹 Developing a 144-acre integrated manufacturing and logistics campus in Kutch, Gujarat. 🔹 September 2026: Signed a technology collaboration agreement with Japan's ITE for refrigerated containers. 🔹 October 2026: Received RDSO Stage-I concept design approval for a new railway wagon capable of carrying ISO, domestic and dwarf containers. 3. Jupiter Wagons 🔹 Manufactures ISO and CSC-certified marine shipping containers at its Indore facility. 🔹 Current annual manufacturing capacity: approximately 4,500 TEUs. 🔹 FY26: Management reported healthy growth in its container manufacturing business. 🔹 Also manufactures specialised container solutions for battery energy storage applications. 🔹 Management sees container manufacturing as an emerging opportunity as India builds its domestic maritime supply chain. 4. Jindal Stainless 🔹 February 2026: Developed India's first corrosion-resistant stainless-steel container specifically for salt transportation. 🔹 The 20-foot container has a payload capacity of 33 tonnes. 🔹 Expected lifespan exceeds 15–20 years, substantially longer than conventional alternatives. 🔹 The prototype was fabricated by Kalyani Cast-Tech and successfully underwent loading and unloading trials. 5. Tata Steel 🔹 Manufactures Corten-grade weather-resistant steel, a critical raw material for conventional shipping containers. 🔹 Its Jamshedpur plant received India's first BIS licence for structural weather-resistant steel under IS 11587 in December 2022. 🔹 Higher domestic container manufacturing could create additional demand for specialised steel products. What Makes This Opportunity Interesting? India's container manufacturing industry is not just about assembling steel boxes. The opportunity extends across: • Container manufacturing • Corten and specialised steel • Corner castings and locking systems • Refrigerated containers • Wooden flooring and protective coatings The government also plans to provide operational assistance of ₹49,500 per eligible 20-foot container and ₹86,625 per eligible 40-foot container. The bigger opportunity is building a complete domestic container manufacturing ecosystem rather than relying on imported containers. 📌Disclaimer: Educational purposes only, not a buy/sell recommendation.52613218K
