@FireBranding123 @RobertMortonJr You came back 1 hour and 20 minutes after the first reply thinking you'd finally thought of a better one. But it was the same old shite. Be ashamed.

In my experience the "waiting for comments" part of the 90 runs from about 7 pm to whenever the VP finishes dinner. It's also when analysts actually read cold emails. Paperclip emails the bankers from your school for you.

When someone in IB or PE tells you they work 90 hour work weeks, ask them what they’re ACTUALLY doing Half of the time is waiting for comments from a senior, scrolling IG, or pretending to flip through research reports when someone walks behind you There’s more face time BS from bankers, but PE guys are all ex-bankers so the culture lives on to an extent Face time / long hours are a big driver of burnout in the industry and yet firms are always surprised when someone resigns despite trying to throw more money at the problem. It feels like there’s no meaning to the work when your time isn’t valued This is why a lot of high performance, high agency individuals with an entrepreneurial idea are increasingly leaving the industry to start their own businesses or search funds where their upside is uncapped and there is more control over your own destiny

your november income goal is easy to hit once you do the math first monday of the month, so reverse engineer it today: - income goal ÷ deal size = deals you need - deals ÷ close rate = calls that need to show - calls that need to show ÷ show rate = calls you need to book - calls to book ÷ booking rate = cold calls and emails you need now you know exactly how many cold calls, emails and booked calls it takes every week hit those and the money is just a lag effect

Agency owner: We've switched cold email agencies 3 times this year. The results were the same every time. Me: What were the emails offering? Agency owner: A 30 minute call to go over our services. Me: Every cold email agency has access to the same tools. They all write copy in pretty much the same ways. Agency owner: So every agency is the same? Me: The fulfillment is going to be pretty much the same. Before I posted that I acquired Cleverly, I'd see clients go from Cleverly to Leadbird and from Leadbird to Cleverly. The results were virtually the exact same. Agency owner: Then why would anyone pick one agency over another? Me: The experience. How they communicate with you, the reports, how they review campaigns, and the account manager running your account. Agency owner: So what do we change? Me: Your offer. Push them to some kind of service lead magnet, do a piece of the work for them up front, and take them down your sales process from there. Agency owner: Like what? Me: Say you run a recruiting agency. "Want me to send over 5 candidates who fit your open sales role?" Agency owner: And then we switch agencies again? Me: Keep the agency you have. If you're willing to change your offer, everything could change.

Outlook cold email guide (2026 Q4) Most guys don’t get their Outlook tenants burned by Microsoft. They burn them themselves. Here’s the setup I see every week: → 15–20 cold emails per inbox per day → 30–40 warmup emails per inbox per day → 50+ emails out of ONE inbox. Every. Single. Day. Then they DM me “bro Outlook is dead.” Outlook isn’t dead. Your inbox died of exhaustion. 🟥 THE PART NOBODY UNDERSTANDS → Every inbox has a limit before it burns → Cold AND warmup both count toward it → Warmup isn’t free volume. It’s wear and tear → Max out warmup and the inbox is cooked before your first cold send 🟩 THE SETTINGS → Cold sends: 2–3 per inbox per day. Always. → Warmup: ~5 per inbox per day → Warmup reply rate: ~30% → Warm 10–14 days before the first cold email → Randomize your send times 🟦 THE COPY RULES → No links. Treat it like a text message → No open tracking → 50 words max, keep it casual → Spintax everywhere, signature included 🟨 THE SCALE MATH → You don’t scale volume per inbox. You scale inbox count → 1 domain = 100 inboxes → 100 × 3 = 300 cold sends per domain per day → Need more? Add domains, not volume Want 10x the volume? Buy 10x the tenants. Don’t make one inbox do the work of 20. It will quit. Loudly. And it’ll take your domain down with it. Our Outlook on Maildeck: premium license, high-spend real businesses, not cold email reseller pools. 100 inboxes per domain, so you can stay at 2–3/day and still hit volume.
