Two r/ProductManagement threads this month, 700+ upvotes between them: "Anyone else tired of what PM is becoming" and "New age of PM is depressing."
Am I crazy?
This is the absolute BEST time to be a PM.
All that BS that used to weigh me down is gone.
Admin work is no longer a problem.
I have access to data and analytical tools I couldn't dream of before.
I have so much more scope.
I can pitch & get buy-in for ideas I couldn't even imagine pitching before.
I'm having so much fun on the side too (maybe too much).
I feel 10x more empowered, and even if things don't work out in my current role, I have 0 worries about finding something even more exciting next.
Am I alone?
