I hate to be the bearer of bad news… But Caleb Williams has a high percentage chance of getting injured again. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Why? Because of the way he plays the game. I tried warning everyone again in the preseason 53 days before he was injured against the Vikings (9/20/26). People back in July thought it was so wonderful to hear that he lost that 10-15 pounds so he would be “faster,” it wasn’t wonderful to me. All it did was heighten my concern for him. All he’s doing by running around, scrambling and holding the ball too long before he throws is inviting more opportunity for injury. More contact=more chance of injury and even if contact is not the result, he’s putting more wear and tear on his body, which also increases the chance for injury. There’s a higher likelihood he gets hurt again from a mathematical standpoint compared to a traditional pocket passer who gets the ball out their hand on schedule because of his playing style and because he is too dependent on his legs. And with a player like Williams once he loses his mobility he will be done. His entire “game” depends on his mobility. Williams has one of the slowest times to throw in the NFL this season per Pro Football Focus (PFF) 3.44 seconds (this ranks 51/53). He’s literally inviting contact and putting more stress on his body because he can’t/refuses to get the ball out of his hand on schedule. Per PFF: Williams time to throw has gone from 3.03 seconds (2024), 3.24 seconds (2025), to 3.44 seconds (2026). In terms of contact— He’s averaging 3 sacks a game at this point (12 sacks in 4 starts this season). How many of those sacks and how much of that contact could have been avoided if he could have simply gotten on the ball out of his hand on schedule? Like this play against the Falcons this season for example. Look how awkward this looks. 🎥

Ilhan Omar got more bad news on Thursday when a New York Times article revealed that the Obama administration had investigated her 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi and found evidence it was fraudulent. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security looked at the marriage in the summer of 2016. Officials told the Times that agents developed evidence suggesting it was a sham, possibly to help a man suspected of being her brother obtain a green card. Elmi received a provisional green card based on the marriage. When immigration officials later asked for more proof to make the status permanent, he left the United States and abandoned the petition instead of responding. The case stalled because prosecutors concluded the potential felony of marriage fraud fell outside the five-year statute of limitations. Omar has spent years calling the claims a right-wing conspiracy that was debunked. A 2016 letter from the U.S. Attorney’s office saying it wasn’t investigating her at that moment was treated as clearance. The Times reporting shows law enforcement under Obama did examine it and saw enough to open a case. Now both the Obama and Biden administrations have had her investigated on issues tied to her immigration history and related matters. She’s only avoided consequences so far because of technicalities like the statute of limitations. That doesn’t clear her. It just means the clock ran out on one potential charge. Anyone who’s still defending Omar after these revelations shouldn’t be taken seriously. Just because her alleged crimes may have survived the statute of limitations doesn’t make her a better person. Continuing to protect her only makes the entire party look worse as the details keep coming out. Democrats have had years to move on from her and keep choosing not to.
