I spent $0 testing @Curriculoai, a free AI hiring tool that scores resumes against a job. It ranked my 5 test resumes in exactly the right order. Then it told me my remote job "requires on-site work", and its "Enhance with AI" button deleted my salary line. Here's what works and what doesn't. Disclosure: free Starter plan, signed up with Google, no card. No bonus or referral credits. $0. What I tested Easy: create a job from my own post. About 1 min 20 s, $0 Typical: upload 5 made-up PDF resumes and check scores. First scores in about 2 min, all 5 in about 5 min, $0 Hard: catch a keyword stuffer, score a Spanish resume fairly, answer a question about candidates. $0 What it does well → Right order: 92, 90, 65, 32, 2, same as my own ranking → Caught the keyword stuffer (32) and scored the Spanish resume fairly (90) → Free plan is real: 1,000 candidates, no card What it does badly → Says my remote job requires on-site work, and calls it remote-first in the same summary → "Enhance with AI" dropped my salary and added Git and CI/CD → Added CI/CD as a qualification, then marked everyone down for it → "Screening invite sent" on 2 people with no email. I sent nothing → No CSV import for applicants → Toolbar archive button did nothing, twice → List didn't refresh: one score only showed after a reload Pricing as listed Starter: $0, free forever, up to 1,000 candidates Pro: $50/mo, 10,000 candidates Scores Job setup 6/10 Resume scoring 7/10 Bulk CSV import 3/10 Pipeline and AI extras 4/10 Verdict 5.5/10 Use it for a free first-pass ranking of a pile of PDF resumes for one role. Skip it if you need CSV imports, reliable invite emails, or remote-aware screening. What I'd fix first → Read remote vs on-site from the job itself → Only show "invite sent" when an email went out → Keep salary and requirements in AI rewrites → Add CSV import for applicants Tip: write your own job post, skip the AI rewrite, and delete any qualification it adds that you didn't ask for. It scores every candidate against them. Bookmark this if you hire with AI tools.

I asked an agent to clean up my Downloads. It did a great job. Then I read its log. To sort 1,237 files, it opened them. Every single one. Here's what it found in my Downloads: 1. A scan of my passport. Uploaded once for a visa form in 2024, never deleted. 2. Three client contracts with rates, signatures and home addresses. 3. A CSV export from a client's CRM. 4,000 emails and phone numbers. I needed it for one report. 4. A .env file from a landing page I built with Cursor last spring. Two API keys, both still live. 5. A screenshot of an invoice with my full bank details. Nothing leaked. The agent did exactly what I asked. That's what got me. "Sort my files" means "read my files". And whatever the agent reads goes into the model's context, through the provider, into whatever logs the tool keeps. What I changed the same evening: 1. Rotated both keys. 2. Deleted the CRM export. 3. Documents went to a folder the agent can't access. 4. Agents now get one working folder. Not Downloads, not Documents, not home. 5. Read-only by default. My Downloads folder was the junk drawer of the whole computer. And I handed someone the key to it.

A basic data analysis project involves a few pretty straightforward steps. You load a dataset, ask questions about it, and use a language like Python to find the answers. And that's what Eva teaches you how to do here using a demo student CSV dataset and Python + pandas.

we open-sourced the Extend UI kit in June. 1,600+ stars later, our OSS documents are seen in: > agent workspaces with inline spreadsheets > research tools with source doc previews > enterprise apps in production we've kept improving it too including PDF annotations, redaction, forms and signatures, richer spreadsheet editing, live search in CSV previews, better doc navigation, and more. it's been great to see where devs will take something once you give them the building blocks! if you're building a doc agent, you shouldn't need to build the UI from scratch. repo in reply ↓

The application you sent three weeks ago is not dead. It is just sitting in a pile. JobPilot tracks every application and reminds you when a follow up is due. Notes on each one, and a CSV export when you want the whole picture. Most offers go to someone the hiring manager still remembers. Three free cover letters a day, too.

gm everyone! CT Audience Manager has been live for 24 hours now, and first users have already started sharing their results and feedback with me. Overall, things are working well, but real users always find bugs you couldnt catch during testing )) Yesterday was mostly about fixing those first issues: • Autofill was preventing some users from seeing their audience lists. Fixed. • Unfollower tracking wasnt working correctly in certain cases. Fixed. Today im working on making unfollower tracking easier to understand, so everyone knows exactly how it works. Also going through usability feedback and making small improvements. And theres a lot more coming. Im already preparing a new UI design and much deeper analytics for your X account. Follow along if you wanna see what comes next. For anyone new here, CT Audience Manager is my completely free Chrome extension that helps you understand and manage your X audience: • Followers & following analytics • Smart sorting by activity and metrics • Inactive accounts finder • Unfollower tracking • Notes & saved profiles • Moni, Kaito, XHunt & Sorsa scores • Optional Discovery • Local CSV/JSON export Most external scores require their corresponding extensions. Everything is built around keeping control of your own audience data, with Discovery available only if you choose to join. Havent installed it yet? Give it a try, and if something feels off or could work better, my DMs are open. Thanks to everyone who gave my project a chance during its first 24 hours. Your feedback is already helping me make it better.

Hey everyone! Today is a big day for me. Im honestly a bit nervous, but Im finally ready to share what Ive been building lately. So, meet CT Audience Manager. My own Chrome extension built to help people understand and manage their X audience. Whats on board? Followers and following analytics, smart sorting and filters, inactive accounts, unfollowers, saved profiles, notes and external metrics like Moni Score, Moni Smarts, Kaito Smarts, XHunt Rank and Sorsa Score. One small catch. I couldnt get free API access to most scoring systems, so ull need Sorsa, Kaito and XHunt Rank apps/extensions installed to use their available data. Not ideal, I know, but thats how I can keep everything free. And theres one feature Im especially excited about. Discovery. Think Tinder, but for meeting people on CT )) Instead of photos, u discover profiles of people who chose to join. Available scores and metrics help find others with similar numbers. Maybe someone interesting has been around for years, but u simply never crossed paths. Privacy was important from day one. Your audience data, notes and settings stay local on your computer. Your followers and following lists arent shared with others. Discovery is completely optional and works without access to your audience. If u decide to join, only selected details from your own profile and available metrics are shared so others can discover u. Now something really important. CT Audience Manager is completely free. No paid features, subscriptions or usage limits. I built it myself because I needed something like this. Been using it, finding it useful, and eventually thought, why not share it with everyone? I wanna keep it free as long as possible. Theres an optional donation link in Settings → About if anyone wants to support development. Every donation will go toward API access for scoring data, making collection faster and easier. I contacted scoring projects about free API access, but so far only paid options were available. I understand their position, just dont wanna pass those costs on to users. And now I could really use a little help from CT. If u try my extension and like it, please support this post. Comment, repost or quote it. I wanna give more people a chance to discover a tool they can use completely free. Ive been building this alone, and seeing others actually use something I created would mean a lot. Ill share updates, fixes and new features right here using #CTAudienceManager. Also, if anyone from a scoring project is reading this, my DMs are open. Id love to explore collaboration, help promote your work and find a way to give users faster access to scoring data without making them pay. wanna thank @allodev. His tool inspired me to start building my own. Different features, different purpose, but his work gave me that initial push. Really appreciate it, bro! ⠀ I still have plenty of ideas for CT Audience Manager, and Im not planning to stop here. Thanks to everyone whos supported me along the way. Really means a lot. #CTAudienceManager

Most teams use Claude like a fancy keyword list generator. That’s the least valuable thing it does. The SEO tools give you data. Claude gives you reasoning on top of that data. Here’s how we run it for SEO and GEO: Step 1: Projects ↳ Load brand voice, top pages, and GSC exports ↳ Every chat starts with full context Step 2: Connectors ↳ Plug in GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush ↳ Ask which pages gained impressions but lost clicks Step 3: Skills ↳ Save your briefs, schema, and audit SOPs ↳ Same quality output on every single run Step 4: Claude Code ↳ Crawl for broken links and missing schema ↳ Schedule weekly reports and ship fixes as a CSV Step 5: GEO, get cited ↳ Answer the question in the opening ↳ ChatGPT pulls 44% of citations from a page’s first 30% Step 6: GEO, earn mentions ↳ Run your buyer prompts weekly and log who’s cited ↳ 85%+ of AI citations come from earned media AI doesn’t fix a broken SEO process. It just runs the broken one faster. Get the system right first. Then let Claude do the heavy lifting. Keep a human on strategy. Always. Which of these are you already using? ♻️ Repost to help someone in your network rank and get cited. P.S. We’re giving 10 free articles to brands in our Carbon Beta Program. DM to apply.

SQL is never just “one database.” As a data analyst, the SQL engine you work with depends on the company, the project, the data volume, and the business problem you’re solving. Some databases are ideal for learning. Some excel in dashboards and reporting. Some power large enterprise systems. Some are built for cloud-scale analytics. Here are eight SQL databases every data professional should know: PostgreSQL Excellent for advanced SQL practice, complex joins, window functions, and structured analytical work. MySQL Widely used in web applications, customer and product data, and a strong foundation for beginners. SQLite Ideal for small projects, local datasets, portfolio work, and lightweight practice without a server. Google BigQuery Designed for massive datasets, cloud analytics, marketing and event data, especially within the Google ecosystem. Microsoft SQL Server Common in enterprise reporting, Power BI dashboards, and Microsoft-centric business environments. Oracle Database Frequently found in large enterprises, banks, ERP systems, and legacy platforms. Snowflake A strong choice for modern cloud data warehousing, BI dashboards, and large-scale analytics. DuckDB Enables fast local analytics on CSV, Parquet, and other files—no full database server required. The key insight: Don’t stop at learning SQL syntax. Understand where each database is used, why it exists, and which one fits which business need. That’s the difference between someone who can write queries and someone who understands real data workflows. #SQL #DataAnalytics #DataScience #DataEngineering #BusinessIntelligence #CareerGrowth

A lot of accounting platforms claim to have "native integrations." Behind the curtain? They are just manually downloading and uploading your CSV files on the backend and calling it automation. Not at T:0. We build true, API-level integrations with the modern fintech stack you actually use. Your data flows instantly without the operational debt or fake automation.

F*ck YES... Claude just found $64 a month I was paying for apps I forgot existed no app, no subscription tracker, no bank login. just a CSV and one question export 3 months of your card statement, drop it into Claude, ask: "find every charge that repeats, match it to the app, and show me what I actually use" it finds the repeats, names the app behind each one, and splits them into "you use this" and "you forgot this" my run: 9 apps checked, 5 changes, 1 approval. $64 a month back. $768 a year 6 lines worth saying, word for word: → Adobe: "Flag anything I haven't opened in 30 days and ask me before cancelling" → Streaming: "I pay for 2. Keep the one I actually watched this month" → Gym: "Find the freeze option before the cancel button" → Cloud: "If I use under half the plan, show me the smaller one" → Music: "Check if a family plan is cheaper than what we pay now" → Domains: "Tell me which ones expire in 30 days and ask before renewing" add one rule first: never cancel anything without asking me and one habit: delete your card number and address from the CSV before you upload it run it tonight with your last 3 statements full prompt in the reply ↓ bookmark this before your next renewal date

A date that looks correct can still produce the wrong result. Receipt formats vary across countries, and even small differences in how dates are interpreted can affect the final output. Calvary AI's receipt to CSV pilot highlights why accuracy depends on more than simply extracting information. Context matters just as much as speed.
