    It’s always intersectionality at the expense of women as a class. Men commit most of the violent crimes against queer people, Feminists spend hours talking about internalized misogyny, but you are obsessed with women saying “gay men are still men.”

    @tragic_endings_ intersectionality , people !! women cannot oppress men for BEING men , but they can oppress men for other things , such as race

    That intersectionality shit is a whole sub-culture. They got their own language, symbols, dogma. They like a specific genre in film & music. Septum rings & crop t’s and pink 😂

    Only care about my own community? Damn, I'm literally affected from all directions, as a WNI, as a working class, as a person with a disability. Gue cuma beruntung nggak harus hirup asap karhutla berhubung banyak WFH. Karena mengingat gue PPOK, sangat mungkin gue mampus juga.

    I can’t help but be cynical. I’ve seen this “blue wave” before. As recently as 21018 & 2020. How many “blue waves”do they need and what are they gonna do differently this time? Representation doesn’t move me anymore, actions do. I need to see action before I celebrate anything.

    @minjokyoexit omg the whole term of "left" or even "leftist" bothers me cause what principles and frameworks do u orient yourself around...we need to be concise in our language and speaking more than ever cause thats how terms like "intersectionality" continue to get co-opted by the elites 😭

    Afrophobia is very alive and I don’t think the xenophobia should be ignored at all but also don’t think “fuck all black americans” is exactly productive either there has to be a middle ground that acknowledges the intersectionality

    @_feedthehabit_ @AdamantDimak @_joelpod I’m no lying, that is simply how intersectionality works. It is why misogynoir exists but an equivalent for black men doesn’t. Same with homophobia/lesbophobia, it’s a different type of oppression. It is transphobia, transandrophobia is not a thing and I say that as a trans man

    @shanefromshein white queers are a prime example of white people having this weird, weird obsession with being oppressed. quite a lot of self-importance, lack of introspection, and no regard for intersectionality.

    Intersectionality is so deceiving because it looks good but it isn’t attached to any concrete ideology.

    @carcasscomplex
    @carcasscomplex also if a cis person has internalized intersectionality to mean that, they've just failed at understanding it. and again saying that is way diff from "blk people have dysphoria from not being alive during the civil rights movement" are you hearing yourself or nah

    @svmyoukrazy
    @svmyoukrazy intersectionality teaches us that ppl exist simultaneously in their identifiers and how those identifiers can coalesce into unique sociological experiences except for white women. white women are always white before anything else. it’s pathetic.

    Gimana sih kok malah bikin kayak seolah-olah queer people cannot be poor, women, orphans, or people who struggle with the very same systemic inequalities you’re talking about

  28. Solstice@osumiragi
    @osumiragi
    That’s the thing about intersectionality. Our identities don’t exist in separate little boxes, and neither do our struggles. You can be queer and experience class oppression, gender inequality, economic injustice, and social exclusion all at once
