(The End of Software Engineering).
Fuck dropshipping, fuck crypto, fuck learning how to code That's some BS I've made over $1M selling AI ($241k in one month) & I can't code The easiest way to make 35 bands rn is charging a 65yo Texas oil millionaire who still runs on paper for AI my dev builds for $1,200: 1. Go where the money already is A year ago I didn't know the difference between oil and gas I literally asked Claude what's some shit where I could charge a bunch of money Oil & gas came up. A lot of these companies are backed by private equity, doing 10 to 100 mil a year w/ millions in the bank My clinic deals are 1 to 5k every day. My oil & gas deals are 12 to 35k, one or two a month. I would love a 35k cash injection twice a month, wouldn't u? Meanwhile kids are pitching a solo car detailer who gets 2 calls a day. He's never buying bro. Fuck the detailing niche, go upstream And it's way bigger than oil. Google "paint manufacturing AI implementation" rn. There's basically nothing. Those owners can't even search for u, so u call them 2. Cold call them. Fr People say "but Tim u have money & connections" Every 35k+ oil & gas deal I've struck started w/ a cold call. I don't have no oil & gas connects. Zero. I'm hella new money I have commission only setters that just hit the phones for me all day Fix ur LinkedIn first bc that's where they check u out. Headline "I help oil & gas companies..." , city skyline banner, real headshot. I made my first multiple six figures in AI deals off LinkedIn. No website. No domain 3. Get in small My last 35k oil & gas deal started as a $1,200 website Imagine I just got off the call & handed it to the website guy lol Once ur in u see everything. The office doing stuff by hand, the dinosaur software, the shit that breaks every week. That's the overhaul 4. Let them tell u what's impossible These guys are super type A. Every call it's "Tim if u could build X, Y & Z that'd be amazing, but it's impossible" I go "ok if I make it possible will u give me $35,000?" Then I take it to my devs. Half my clients think I'm the nerdy little Asian AI dev lol. I just sell it Before the call paste everything ur devs can build into Claude & ask: "This is everything my developers can do & I'm in the oil & gas niche. Why would they need each of these? Rank them by pain point" The top 3 are ur offer 5. Price the customer, not the scope Devs are the commodity now If I make a business doing hundreds of thousands a month even 5% better, bro I should've charged them 60, 70k. I'm lowkey undercharging these guys 6. Get the wire Over 10k I always take a wire bc I'm Asian & I want my 3.5% 3.5% card fee on $35,000 is $1,225. That's my whole dev bill. Oh hell no Some of u are trying to hit 10k a month & we talking about saturationOil Co Intern @OilCoInternMe and the boys using AI in the Oil and Gas industry284588465.1K

Empezó a cobrar 200 €/hora. Ya no necesitas programar. Necesitas construir. Cero experiencia necesaria. NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THESE 5 GITHUB REPOS. 5 GitHub repos that can make you money with AI. 99% of people are still asleep to this. The pattern is the same every time. A repo. A service. A buyer. 1. OpenHands It automates software development. You offer AI dev services to small businesses. 2. screenshot-to-code It turns website screenshots into code. You build and sell websites to clients. 3. CrewAI It lets you build teams of AI agents that work together. You sell AI automation services to businesses. 4. PPTAgent It generates presentations from documents and ideas. You offer AI powered presentation design services. 5. Open AI UGC It creates AI UGC videos from product images and scripts. You sell them to brands for social media advertising. You're not just using AI anymore. You're selling it. Save this. You're going to want to come back to it.MIKE @mikenevermiss74634410.7K

A lot more goes into building a software factory than you might think. There are 7 must-haves we've landed on: - Configured as code - Central conversation history - Benchmarking tools - Factory chat - Artifacts - Computer use - Agent debugger In detail:672541445.4K
Apparently 400+ engineers followed me after my interview prep tweet. So, hi! 👋 I’m Oana. A few things about me: • Grew up in a small village in Romania. At 17 I designed a space station inspired by the bees in our backyard and called it Apis, Latin for “bee.” It won NASA Ames’ grand prize. • Studied CS and ML in Germany. My thesis was on echo state networks: recurrent nets where you freeze the network and train only the readout. 2011’s preview of the frozen model era. • Spent 7 years at SAP, whose customers brew 77% of the world’s beer and make 79% of its chocolate. I helped build an ontology of business processes across 25 industries and 11 lines of business, the backbone tying tens of thousands of price list items to the code that implements them. I also printed “Less PPT, more MVP” buttons and handed them out in the cafeteria. • ML engineer turned VC. Started my own fund @MotiveForce • I write $500K checks at pre-seed and seed. Sometimes before founders have decided to start a company. One of my founders was still HashiCorp’s first designer when we met. I love beautiful software, unusual minds, vintage Atari t-shirts (Frogger was my first game), and people who can’t stop building. If you’re an engineer: 🚀 Thinking of starting something, even while employed? I’d love to meet you. No pitch deck needed. 🛠️ Looking for your next adventure? My portfolio company @papercliping, the most used agent orchestrator, needs engineers strong in data/evals, security, or runtime performance. DM me and I’ll intro you to the founders. ☕ Just enjoy hard technical problems? Me too. Always want to hear what you’re building. I’m in SF, which happens to be the first city I ever traveled to, at 17, to pick up that NASA prize. Say hi 👋662379622.1K
