    #Review #Ranabaali - A Story That Struggles to Engage! Ranabaali has the right intentions, but the storytelling doesn’t do enough to keep us invested. The chapter-by-chapter narration makes the film feel unnecessarily long, and the constant focus on patriotism and the British-era setting may not connect equally well with today’s audience. There are a few stretches where the drama works, and VD Rashmika’s chemistry brings some life to the proceedings, but those moments are too scattered to hold the film together. Vijay Deverakonda puts in a sincere effort, while the production design does a good job of recreating the period. The narration lacks the grip needed to sustain the drama, and the BGM does little to elevate the key moments. Despite the sincerity behind it, Ranabaali struggles to turn its intentions into an engaging cinematic experience. 5/10

    #Review #Jailer2 #Jailer2 is a full-on commercial entertainer that brings together mass moments, humour, sentiment and action in director Nelson’s signature style. The first half focuses more on establishing the characters and setting up the story, while the second half gets into the actual narrative, making the proceedings feel a little heavy and stretched in places. There are moments where the pace dips, but for a senior star like Rajinikanth, this kind of larger-than-life setup and storytelling works well. Nelson knows how to build moments around Rajini’s screen presence, and the mix of mass elevations and emotional blocks keeps the film engaging for the most part. It may feel slow here and there, but that shouldn’t be a major concern for the regular commercial cinema audience. Overall, a good entertainer that delivers on its mass appeal. 7/10 - Good
